I liked everything about Cedarhurst of Beaumont. Ashley gave the tour there, very, very informative. She wasn't just trying to get a room occupied. She was also very informative about memory care, and told me that even if I don't choose their community, if I have any other questions, feel free to call her as well. And she has checked up on me just to see if I found anything or if I had any questions since I've had the tour. Very, very nice person. And the community itself is very, very nice, and well kept up as well. The rooms were very nice, she told me that any time that a resident moves out, they redo the room, like the flooring, everything, which I didn't know about. But she said that's what they do. So everything is new when you move into their community. The dining area is huge, it's very, very big. They also have activities, like the crafts, and they have an outdoor area. They have a TV room where the residents can go and watch TV.

We toured Cedarhurst of Beaumont. The place was very clean and very kept up. The hallways were wide. Their activities list was nice and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They didn't have any problem answering any questions that we had. The memory care was great. They had a good list of activities. Most of the residents were sitting around watching TV in the common area.

Our tour of Cedarhurst of Beaumont was excellent and well coordinated. There's a small sink in the room, but no hard cooking surfaces. The dining area looked like just a regular nice dining room. They did very well during the tour. The staff was friendly on the initial. I was very pleased with the facility. We went to a carhop, stayed in the parking lot, and they brought the food out to us and it was very good.

I saw Cedarhurst of Beaumont. It was a newer facility, I was really impressed with everything. She showed me two different apartments, it was clean, and it was new. I would have been fine taking my mother there except, the room that they have for my mom was far away from the elevator, and this was like a 4-story building, and I was worried that my mother would just get lost there. I was worried the walk would be too long for the elevator, and also, it's just kind of a big facility. I loved the facility, the pricing was good, and everything was good, but it wasn't for my mom. The staff was good, the dining area was really attractive and pleasing. They showed me different places, that they would have different things, they had an outdoor area, that they would have dinner as well with music, and they had an exercise place.

Had an appointment to tour the place with my parents. I had informed them when I made the appointment we would need two wheelchairs for them. When we arrived, the receptionist knew nothing about the appointment and said they had one wheelchair up front. When I said I needed two or it was a mute point, she then said she could get another, which she did, as well as notify the person who was supposed to do the tour. Then both of them stood there as I took the wheelchairs out one at a time to unload my parents, and never offered to help. When I called them in it, they acted astonished that I could have needed help. I almost left then, but proceeded to park the car and come back in. As we started to walk away from the entrance I saw the host and the receptionist exchange a smirk, so I stopped things right there and left. I wouldn't trust my parents in this place. Their entire attitude shows they really don't care, and they don't get it even when called out for not caring. If I ran this place I'd fire both people I interacted with today. And I certainly won't trust a facility that employs this type of person to "care" my parents.

Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is a much larger facility so there's a lot more people. The rooms are really small. The staff was great and went out of their way and followed up several times. The memory care wing staff seemed great, approachable, and interested. I talked to residents and they said the staff is great as well. They go on lots of trips, which I think is wonderful, and they do beer tastings, movies, and get-togethers. They also have church service. The atmosphere is like a nice hotel and it's pretty spectacular when you walk in. The dining area is fabulous, open, and it looks like it should have white tablecloths because it's that nice. They have kept the same chef and staff since they opened which is a testament to how good they are to their staff. The menu that they had went on forever.

Provision Living at Beaumont Centre looked excellent, but I found it to be stale, and it had a colder feeling than the other places I looked at. It's also spread out more. I didn't care for the dining area or the layout as much. You have to weave around to get to places, but it's very clean, and the staff was very nice. I saw a lady playing music there.

Provision Living at Beaumont Centre is brand new. They're still in the process of filling the place up with residents, but our family's very happy with the facility and with the people. It's all inclusive. In other words, you'd be paying for services that you didn't need, but in my mom's case, she needs all the services they offer. It fit our needs perfectly. They're comparable to activities in other similar facilities. They have bible study, they have someone come in and play the piano and entertain, they have field trips, they have different speakers come in on different subjects, and they have social activities for the residents. We've been very pleased with the food. They had indicated to us that they had intended to be the best in the area with the quality of food, and they've not disappointed us in that sense. They've been very good attending to the residents' needs. If you don't like what's on the menu, they'll fix you something else. They've been good at that. Their memory unit is in the same building as assisted living.
