I live at The Gardens at Creekside. It's very good. It's clean, and the grounds are well-kept. I have no complaints about any of that. We've had a lot of turnover in the staff. It's okay. I don't need any services too much from them. They are helpful and friendly. Every day, they have cards, games, movies, and all kinds of stuff. You may have a day and they'll take you wherever you want to go, to the grocery store or you know. I don't eat here. I cook my own meals.

We toured The Gardens at Creekside. We liked how clean it was, and the decoration was good. It looked nice. It looked like you could be at home there. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. We did not try the food, but we found out where you can get meals and everything, and we know that's good. My sister would prefer a two-bedroom there.

I toured The Gardens at Creekside. I liked the cleanliness. They took me on a tour of the place. It's spacious and a nice size. They're very nicely built. I love them. There's a refrigerator and kitchen things. There's a little stove and things like a washer and dryer. It's very nice. The staff was very kind and very informative. She's great. I appreciate it, she's good.

I toured The Gardens at Creekside. I like the apartments. But I think the community is a little large. For me, I would like something a little bit smaller. The apartment was nice. It had a washer and dryer and a walk-in bath. It's exactly what I'm looking for. The staff who assisted me was very nice. They have activities but they are more expensive than I want right now.

I didn't like The Gardens at Creekside. It was very depressing as far as I was concerned. The apartment the woman showed me needed to be updated. The kitchen had older cabinets and old appliances. There was no dining or eating area. You'd have to have a very tiny table and it would be part of the living room. So, that was kind of not for me. I wasn't impressed with the apartment itself. It was a two-bedroom, two-bath, but what was unusual is the master bedroom's bathroom had a tub, whereas the other bedroom, which was smaller, had a walk-in shower. It should be the other way around, but that's the way they designed it. They allow the residents to put whatever they like in the hallway outside their doors but as you look down the hallway, to me, it was very chaotic. I understand they're elderly people. I'm elderly, too. I'm 80 years old, but some of the stuff they put outside their doors was seriously old furniture and side tables and vases on the side tables. To each his own, but I was not impressed with any of that. It seemed kind of congested to me. However, the woman there was very friendly and very nice. They expected me. I had made an appointment. I also met the maintenance person who happened to be coming down the hallway, and he was very nice and very friendly. I met a couple of the residents who were again very friendly. The staff was very accommodating. She showed me everything. We even went up where the beauty shop was and showed me all the different rooms that they have for these people who want to sew or do crafts. She took me around quite a bit.

The Gardens at Creekside was OK. The staff who gave me the tour was nice. The rooms looked good. I was shown the rooms and the second floor. Everything was OK except pricing was a little bit high for me.

The Gardens at Creekside was very friendly. It was clean and organized. It was clear as to what each area was designed for. I liked the fact that someone was sitting in the reception area waiting to greet me. Someone was expecting me and waiting to come out and talk to me who was not the same person who was sitting there speaking to residents. There was a little emergency store where you can get emergency items if you don't want to go to the grocery store. There's an area where people can just gather and greet each other. The lady that did the tour was attentive and organized. She knew what she was talking about. She was detailed and friendly. The dining area was open and clean. It was clear what they had to offer for dining services. They send you a menu for the week and you sign up for what you want and then it's available for whatever you sign up for, and they had good options for what they gave you. The apartments were clean, beautiful, and roomy. They're nice.

I had an in-person tour of The Gardens at Creekside. I like the size of the rooms. It looks like they had some activities going on. Everybody seemed friendly. They just have a studio apartment or a one-bedroom apartment. It's very small. I have to get rid of at least half of my belongings to live there. The staff was very good. They don't have any type of balcony or outside patio. The facility was very clean. The residents were very friendly. Some of them were playing bingo. There was some type of vendor who came in bringing soups and produces.

The Gardens at Creekside is a really nice community, and the people are really nice. I'm probably the youngest one here. They have all kinds of help for seniors, which fortunately I don't need. They have a park right across the way, so you can go over there and watch the children on the playground. They have games and different things going on every day of the week. They have a movie on Wednesdays. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, and I have just a one-bedroom, and it's nice. The people that run the office are very nice and very helpful. The common spaces are awesome. The library is actually on my floor and they have a pretty extensive selection of books. The outside is awesome, too. They charge for the food, so I just get frozen dinners and stuff because I'm tired of cooking.

The Gardens at Creekside offer several activities. They have transportation available within quite a wide area to doctor's appointments and to shopping. The people are very friendly. The management bend over backwards to help you. They have a full-sized washer and dryer. The rooms are quite large. I was surprised the apartments are as large as they are. In the kitchen, they include a microwave and an oven. Everything is there. They go out of their way to welcome you. Several of the residents and their ambassador came by to see me and asked if there was anything that I needed. They gave a lovely little gift bag. They provide deliveries from restaurants, Wal-Mart, and so forth. They also deliver your prescriptions. There are restaurants and a shopping center nearby within walking distance. The manager came by 3 to 4 times the first day I was here to see if I needed anything and to make sure that I had everything that was necessary to move in. She came by daily to check that I had everything and that things were going well. Apparently, she does that with every resident because that's one of the things that they told me when I first arrived. The food is really high-rated restaurant quality. It's prepared onsite, and it's very well done. They really go out of their way to make sure that everything is as clean and as welcoming as can be. They come every day and do the general cleaning, and they're very quiet. You would never know that there was anything being done. They try to do it during times that you're involved in activities. You just never know that your floor is being cleaned, and it is just well maintained. They have a wide range of activities for varying levels of ability to participate. Anything that you sign up for, they have someone come by that day to make sure that you get to the different areas. They ask if you need any assistance or if there's anything they can provide. I checked several different areas. At first, I was a little reluctant because the Gardens at Creekside was much cheaper than any place else. They really are topnotch and provide more amenities than some of the other ones did.

I toured The Gardens at Creekside. It was a very nice facility. It was very clean and good. The staff was nice. That place could have dogs there and we went up to a certain floor and it smelled. It just had spots in the carpeting, but I'm sure they could fix that. People looked like they were pretty happy there. There was plenty of room and the place was nicely decorated. They had a craft room and a gathering room like a social area. They also have a salon and a library.

I like The Gardens at Creekside because it's located personally close to me and the price was reasonable. The building is probably 10 to 15 years old and in good condition. They would supply meals if she wants them, and although she doesn't need them they're available when she does. They have hair care, a library, a park, puzzle area with multiple kinds of puzzles, they also have all kinds of things that she likes. They also have 2-bedroom units. I know their food because I buy from the same place that they purchase from, so I know what they get from Hy-Vee. The staff was very good at what they're doing. In terms of facilities, they have everything a senior person would need. The Olathe's public library is brand new and right across the street too and it has cafes and such.

We've had a good experience with The Gardens at Creekside. The place was very welcoming and very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My mother's apartment there is a 1-bedroom with a living room and a bathroom but they also have a variety of rooms. They have a shuttle there that can take people where they want to. It's a 55+ apartment, the rent is very reasonable and the only other expense there is that they pay their own electric bill. They get meals 5 days a week, lunches and dinners, from in-house. And then for the weekend, they're responsible for their meals. They have a beauty salon, and they do activities when they're not in the midst of a pandemic. My mother got in there right at the beginning when this thing exploded so she hasn't had any chance yet to exercise any of those.

A lot of my friends have retired, and they are living at The Gardens and really like it. It's a very good place, and everybody that moved in seemed to like it. They've got activities and things going on. They had people all over the place doing something. They had puzzle set up, people talking doing puzzles. It's very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I lived at Gardens at Creekside for a year and I loved it. The facility is beautiful. The hallways and the apartment were recessed back so you could dress up the outside of your door in any way that you want to. When you enter my apartment, you had the laundry on the left and you had the kitchen on the right and a long living room. Then there was a hallway to the left where I had your bathroom and the bedroom. The only thing that I didn't like about it, was it didn't have its own balcony. You could either cook you own meal or had your meal done. They had meals every day, but it was an outside chef that came in to do it So, it's not that you needed to pay a large amount of money included in your rent in order to have nice meal by a chef. You'll sign out for how many meals you want and then you would pay in advance and then you'd have your meals ready for you. At that time my rent was $900 a month and I also paid for the electricity. We had garage sales in there. They had companies come in and sell their cloths. In the evening they had wine tasting. The best thing that I really liked about it is the total freedom. There were very few rules. You got to have a special key to get into the front door. It was totally electronic and if lost your key at night, they had nobody on duty. So, you would have to call a neighbor or some to hit that button so you could get in. They could try to do something to keep somebody in the office all night. Also, there was not enough parking for the residents and the visitors. I was very happy when I was there. I would highly recommend it to others.
