I love living here. I've been a resident for over 5 years and have been thru ups and downs and it has been worth the effort because the best people live here and have become family. My apartment is large. I have a large walk-in closet, a washer and dryer, easy access bathrooms, and a garage. The staff is both friendly and responsive and I enjoy many of the activities available. I like to play bridge, go to bible study and book group as well as Hand, Knee and Foot, and Swoop! We have potlucks and food trucks and meals are available from Hen House. It's a great place!!

We toured Connect55+ Olathe. They offer a few more activities than the other place. The staff who gave the tour was great. They have get-togethers with food. They do a little bit more of that where everybody can come. And the apartments are a little bit more expensive, but not a lot. My sister would prefer a two-bedroom, but she would take the one-bedroom if that's what's available.

Connect55+ Olathe is a beautiful community. It was wonderful. I wish I could live there. But unfortunately, I can't afford it. It had the best community staff. The people who work there and live there are just phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about it. When I visited, the guy who greeted me and showed me around was fantastic. I had a resident come up to me and ask me if I was thinking about living there. They told me all about the place, how long they'd been there, and how they loved it. They have a movie theater inside the building. They have a bunch of different other things in there. They also have it where they take people to Walmart if they can't drive and to different places. They don't include meals, but they have a community worker there, and every Saturday morning, she fixes the entire property breakfast at no cost. They told me they had a kind of potluck thing at least once a week where everybody who wanted to participate brought some kind of things to eat. And then they all sit down in a big room, eat, mingle, and whatnot. I would highly recommend it to anybody who doesn't need the meals. I guarantee anybody would like it there.

I really liked Connect55+ Olathe. The amenities were very good. They have a huge theater room with a huge screen so you can go in and watch movies. You got the big lazy boy chairs or recliners. In fact, I went there just before the Super Bowl, and the woman said they're going to be having the Super Bowl up on that big screen, which I thought was kind of fun. They have a community room. They don't have meals there, but they have a kitchen facility, and then if you want to order something from the grocery store, they can deliver it. The layout of their apartment was very nice and it's a good size. They have all kinds of activities throughout the week. The facility was very clean. The two-bedroom, two bath includes your basic cable, which is Xfinity, and then water, sewer, and trash. So you'd be paying electric. I guesstimate it out, and it came out to $2,500 worth of expense. The rent was $1,925. I was a little worried. That was pretty tight with all my rent and the electric and all my other personal expenses, but overall, I like that one the best. Marcus was really accommodating. The facility is not that old. It's still pretty crispy.

We lived there for one-year, huge mistake and left quickly as soon as our lease was up. No cleaning contract (tenants clean common areas), 1-maintenance guy who's main job is to keep trash empty when he is off trash builds up, we had 4-facility managers in our 1-year and 3-months with no manager! Awful awful corporate leadership! Many problems with building and many bad experiences in just one-year, RUN AWAY!!

This place is awful. My Mom's rent was raised 600+ last year. Management is a revolving door. Maintenance has left the company die to how corporate treats their employees. Same with activity managers. The so called amenities are not worth the money. The building is also poorly built and was done on the cheap. Renter beware! They are all about the money and not the residents as they claim. Would not recommend to anyone's parents.

I toured Connect55+ Olathe. It was very nice, very spacious, and clean. It looked like the people were enjoying themselves there. It looks like a good place to go. There's plenty of room. It's well-lit and airy. They had a craft room, like a sewing room, a gathering room like a social room, and a sunroom.

We have chosen Connect55+ Olathe. We haven't moved yet but I put the deposit down and signed a contract. We have chosen this place because it's very nice, nice location around everything, and very well done. Nice countertops, and nice everything. I would give them a 5 on the tour experience. It was great. It's the best one we saw. They have everything but the restaurant. It seems to be very clean. It's a good location because of everything that's around it, the banks and the food places, just everything that is right there.

I moved into Connect55+ Olathe. It was bright and cheery. There were a lot of people having a lot of fun. The staff was a lot of fun, seemed to be very knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. I felt like she was truly interested in making sure that we made a good decision. The apartments were great. We were able to get one with hardwood floors instead of carpeting and an end unit on the top floor, which is what we preferred. It was a pretty nice deal. It's listed as a few places open, so we still have new people come in every day. Constantly, we were always doing something, like cards, playing pool, mahjong, and happy hours. We had live music with dancing the other day. And we have potluck dinners.

Connect 55+ Olathe is spacious and has amenities. It's just a monthly rental, so it's not like a co-op where you have to buy-in, which makes it a good fit for my mother. She liked what she saw and the people she talked to, and then when we moved, it was pretty much what they said it was going to be. We felt like we got what we were expecting and it's been good. She likes it and I like it for her. The staff has been helpful. She's in an apartment building and the staff brings the packages from the mailroom up to her front door. She moved into an apartment that had never been lived in, and so when she had a problem with it, like the water line wasn't hooked up to the refrigerator, or light bulbs needed to be changed out, she was able to get somebody up there in a timely manner to do the work. They have an opportunity to sign up for catered meals from a local market and she gets a menu every week. She can look through and decide how many of each meal she wants to order for a flat rate of $7.50 a meal. Then she just writes them a check and the meals get delivered on those days that she has requested, and they come right to her front door. They also have a big lobby with tables for visiting, a game room, a gym, and a movie theater. Although food is not prepared on site, they have a common dining room where people could use and have an event catered. They have a calendar that they print out in the elevator to show their daily activities, including a Bible study, balance classes, stretching classes, card games, and other activities. They don't necessarily do outings and field trips that I'm aware of, but there are on-site activities and a salon on-site for both men and women where they can get a haircut.
