Aberdeen Village was a nice facility. The lady that talked with us was very nice. They had a beautiful dining room and a great coffee bar/breakfast area. The living areas were pretty old and kind of out of style. Otherwise, it was great. The apartments were big and roomy. There's the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the bedroom, and the washer and dryer for you. They had a very nice common dining room and a swimming pool that you have access to all the time.

Aberdeen Village is extremely nice and clean. The staff is excellent and very good. When my father-in-law was there, and the food was excellent. Everything about the place was top-notch. They have library spaces and meeting areas. The rooms are very nice. My father-in-law was in a single room, which was well-kept. It's a newer facility so it's in very good shape.

I visited Aberdeen Village, and it is at West 119th Street. I haven't lived there, but as far as what I have seen in my tour, I would recommend it. First of all, I like the reception area. When you walk in the door, they paid attention to you. They did not know that we were coming, and that is the way I wanted it. Like the other facility, they have different levels. They have independent living, assisted living, and a nursing home part. They didn't say Alzheimer's, but like a memory section. They have a wonderful dining room. They have like a snack bar or coffee bar that you could visit 24/7. They have a very nice courtyard to get together with your friends. It was shaded, and they have a putting green also. I am very impressed with it. Their own staff supervised the activities, and they have scheduled entertainment. They have I'd guess you call it an activity room type thing. I just like it, and it is very clean.

My dad is in Aberdeen Village. The care is superb, but it is just costly. My dad actually chose them. He likes them, and he wants to be in there. They are over staffed, and my dad loves attention. The staff is very good. I will recommend them depending on cost. I think it is just a little costly than some others. My dad is in an adequate one-bedroom room. It is sort of a studio bedroom. It has a separate bathroom, and all the rest is one big room.

When mom was in the independent living of Aberdeen, she started falling a lot. She has vertigo. She was in the hospital briefly and they move her over to assisted living. They've been very receptive when we disagreed on what they wanted to do. So we just hated to move her unless they were just really going to pressure us to move her. They have several different wings. Mom and dad started in independent living 10 years ago or so and they were very happy with that. The food was fabulous in the independent living. There were lots of choices. It took forever to be served but it was very tasty. Mom's in the mid-range assisted living now. There are not as many choices, but they do have an alternative menu if they don't like the choices that are offered. They have lots of activities. They bring in lots of different things for them to do. Everything from chair exercises to current movies. They have bingo, Jeopardy, they got a lot of things.

The Aberdeen Village facility in Olathe, Kansas is exceptional. The pleasing environment, well-planned accomodations and professional clinical staff have given us the confidence and assurance that our loved one is being cared for at the highest level of clinical service possible. It is very apparent that Aberdeen Village's mission is to meet the needs of their patients.

Aberdeen Village provides continuing care, senior and independent living. The facility has a nice balcony and nice patios. They place was very clean and well kept. I've visited the place couple of times and I really can say that its nice and people were friendly and you really feel welcome. It's just that when we last visited it together with my mom, most of the residents were gone to the aquarium that day and the people who are left couldn't get around. So it didn't not gave my mom a good impression because it looked like more of nursing home. And my mom doesn't like that. But generally, the place is nice and recommendable.

My mom currently stays here at Aberdeen Village Nursing Home. They have an average of one staffing nurse for each resident. The facilities and amenities were actually excellent. They provide daily living activities and medication management. I have nothing bad to say about their service and staff, but its just that they've raised the price range on my mom's room and its something that we can't afford in the long run. We really love the center but its pretty costly with the new price.

We feel so lucky that our Mom is living at Aberdeen Village in Olathe, KS (outside Kansas City). She has been there four years, suffering from Dementia. She could not get better care anywhere!! They are professional and extremely caring. It is clean and you can visit anytime and never by surprised by what you see. The head nurse and the staff are advocates for their residents and are extremely compassionate. They always to call to inform us of anything that occurs, no matter how small.

At the request of a relative who was considering Aberdeen Village, my sister and I dropped in to see the facility. My first impression was that this had to be one of the nicest facilities I had ever visited. The staff member who met us was very graciously showed us around even though we did not have an appointment. Every area, rooms, common areas, dining room, pool were clean and beautifully decorated. There were many resident activities which seemed would fit everyones tastes. As we were getting into our car in the parking lot a current residents relative parked next to us and expressed how happy her mother was living at Aberdeen Village. To me, the was the best recommendation of all! I felt comfortable that this facility is part of a well established network of care facilites with a good reputation.
