My mother was just admitted last night. The staff was caring, attentive, friendly and understanding. And today she remarked how much she loved her "hotel room"...thank you to Wellbrooke of Avon!

No one you care about should ever have to visit this facility to receive care! The staff is uncaring and hard-hearted leaving my mother on a toilet for longer than 20 minutes at a time while stating, "I'll be right back." She was also put to bed in a soiled gown and not cleaned for several days. The nurses did not know how to care for my mother's wound and refused to change her dressings according to her hospital discharge paperwork...which was lost. Dressings were to be changed at least every day and hers went more than 48 hours without a change. Her lack of skilled attention resulted in a wound infection that led her back to the hospital. Nutrition was not a concern and mom was not served a meal on two occasions. Calls to the Executive Director went unanswered and no improvements were made. Please do not let your loved ones be treated by this facility.

The people at Wellbrooke of Avon were very accommodating and helpful during my visit. They provided me with all the information that I was looking for and answered all my questions. The apartments were average in size, clean, and well-organized. The staff was kind and seemed efficient.

Wellbrooke is beautiful new building with private rooms. Member of my family has been there 3 weeks and there have been several medication errors. Pain meds were allowed to run out on weekend and a holiday. Patient sent to emergency room without notifying family. Management blames pharmacy for medication mistakes. Not acceptable.

What a wonderful facility to be in. I was a short term resident at Wellbrooke of Avon. The staff treats you with respect and care and are very attentive to your needs. A warm and friendly atmosphere helps make your stay very pleasant. The dining is of your choice. You may choose the restraunt style dining or you may select to eat in your room. The Activity Director offers many different types of entertainment including trips out to lunch, shopping and more.

Wellbrooke of Avon is a brand-new place, and the staff is wonderful. We've been very pleased so far, and Mom seems to be very happy. Mom's room has a small kitchenette, a nice-sized living area, a very nice-sized bedroom, and bath. She plays bingo, and they have happy hour, music, and a Halloween party. We're very happy with all that they offer. The staff knows her by name, and they seem to make an effort to get to know everyone that comes in to visit Mother, which is a lot of people.

My mom is in Wellbrooke of Avon, and they take good care of her. They have people come in and give shows. They have buses that take them. They cover all of their food. If she has a problem, they address it immediately and take care of it. The atmosphere is excellent. It is a very new facility. The only issue that we have with the food is that if you try to go in there like on a holiday, they only have a skeleton staff ,and most of the relatives pick up the people to eat in a restaurant, so there isn't much food available. However, they are very good.
