I stayed at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana for therapy and it was great. It's a rehabilitation center, so there were a lot of people with different injuries and different problems. The care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy were all great. They tried and they worked with you to customize what you needed therapy-wise. I can't say enough about them. I'd give them a ten if I could. The staff was outstanding, compassionate, and caring. They worked with you. They pushed you a little bit. They did everything I needed to have done to get me to a better place. I came out a lot better than I went in, so I'm really happy. The food was very good. We got to pick from a menu and the menu choices were very good. Their rooms were excellent. It was just a bedroom and a bathroom and it was large enough. You didn't feel confined. It had a window, so it was great. It was worth the price.

My experience at RHI is very mixed. It was both a great place and horrible at the same time. The physical and occupational therapists were the best and their gym was excellent. The nurses and the rest of the staff on the other hand were absolutely horrendous. They were rude and disrespectful and just plain horrible at their jobs most of the time. The food in the cafeteria was also just plain bad and several of their dishes were uneatable in my opinion and I'm not a very picky eater at all. Overall the physical and occupational therapists were the only upside to the facility and luckily they were so amazing and friendly and helpful it made the nurses and everyone else tolerable for the great treatment and rehab I was getting from them that made it worth my while. If their nursing staff was only half as good as their therapists then this would be an excellent facility.
