The room, common areas, and hall way are immaculate. I have visited friends at Courtyard and her room is beautiful. I have beer told the food is good, and the staff is caring and very helpful. Farmington is so fortunate to have Courtyard in the city.

My mother was treated with any overwhelming amount of love, care and compassion. The tenant assistants went out of their way to make sure she had everything that she needed and more. They assisted with making sure her medications were correct, she was clean, her tummy was full, her bed was made, her laundry clean, and most importantly, she was comfortable. Yes, she would have preferred to remain in her own home, but that was no longer an option. We wanted to be sure she was safe and someone would be there for her when she needed them. The building is immaculate, the staff is knowledgeable and compassionate and the care is bar none. I would recommend CYE over and over again.

My dad was in Betty's garden from 2/23-9/23. At first things were great. Dad was not much work for staff. Staff was very receptive and "loved my dad". As time went on and dad's dementia was worse and became more work and once I brought in OSF Hospice to help care for dad in the facility, his care declined drastically. He was allowed to sit in very wet diapers to the point the chair he was in had standing urine on it. His glasses were lost for 5 days. I was told staff looked everywhere for them and were continuing to look. I found then on the floor under a loveseat within 10 mins of looking. The day before I moved my dad to the OSF Hospice home so he could pass with dignity, I found my dad's pills sitting in front of him for him to take on his own. At this time, he was unable to feed himself therefore would not have been able to take his meds on his own. At that same time, another resident was playing with another resident's pills. This was all going on while the nurse sat in her office on a personal phone call. Dad's toilet broke in his room, and he was without a functioning toilet for several days. There was also a possible HIPAA violation as the director told me she was talking about my dad to her spouse. All my concerns have been given to the corporate office. I was told I would get a follow up call from the regional director over the facility but have not heard back. This has been 2.5 weeks ago now and after multiple voicemails, no one will return my call.

If I could give zero stars I would. My Grandfather was a resident of this facility, and he was neglected and wasn't able to live out his last few months in dignity. Numerous falls, missing personal items, and loads of other issues. There were many cases of neglect including sitting in soiled pants, a toilet broken in his room and not fixed, and his pills not being monitored. If you're looking for a safe place for your loved one, this is NOT it.

Courtyard Estates of Farmington is very positive, very comfortable, and extremely clean. They provide excellent care to my brother. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to assist us. They have dominoes regularly, Bible studies, ice cream socials, and a band concert this week. They do stretching every morning, too, and then they have a large flat-screen TV, and a library. They have a nice selection of activities, but I would like to see more diverse activities for the residents.

My father moved into Courtyard Estates. We liked that each person has one room, so its like a one-room apartment. We liked that it goes from independent living to assisted living to memory care. They only have 32 residents total, 11 for memory care, and 21 rooms, so its very small. They take the residents out to different places. Its only 10 miles from where he lived, so it's the perfect spot. Its only two years old, and the staff were very willing to help us during the move.
