I like that Meadow View Assisted Living and Memory Care is small. The people are nice. They seemed to be a good fit for my mother. She's in a studio apartment, which has a nice-sized closet, a nice-sized bathroom for wheelchair accessibility, and a big window to let the light in. It's all very nicely painted and maintained. Since this is a studio apartment, there's no kitchen area. The staff is all really friendly and helpful so far. They all seem to know what they're doing. The food looks very good and my mother has no complaints about it. Everything was very clean. They have all kinds of group activities and they are always looking to include everybody that wants to participate. So, they have lots of things to do for the seniors. The outdoor spaces are very nicely landscaped. There are a couple of places for the residents to go out and sit and enjoy the sunshine or nice weather, but I think that could be improved. It's less expensive than where she was.

I toured Meadow View Assisted Living and Memory Care. The director of memory care was super enthusiastic and super friendly. She was bubbly, just like what my mother-in-law would enjoy. She would have connected with my mother-in-law. It's a big, connected building, and it's beautiful. They have water features and really nice landscaping. They have chairs where the seniors can sit outside and enjoy the landscaping and the water feature. They provide home cooked meals and group activities. We toured both assisted living and memory and all the rooms have private bathrooms, so there's no share there. The rooms are nice sized. However, in the memory care, I didn't see anyone who was like some of the people where my mother-in-law lives now. They all seemed kind of a level above cognitively. But I thought it was great, I really did. The two ladies were wonderful and very professional. In the assisted living, they were having a party with balloons. It was a baby shower for one of the staff people, actually. So that was kind of interesting that they're all in there doing that. I saw the outdoor areas where residents could go, and of course, the assisted living comes and goes as they please. I would recommend it.

We went to Meadow View. The staff was wonderful, gave a really good tour, and was very informative and caring. Mom's going to need a little bit higher level of care, and they said they're totally capable of taking care of all of her needs. They have a fireplace in the entryway and a room where a lot of people get together and play cards and games. It looked like they were enjoying themselves. Several residents came up and welcomed my mom and said if she moved in there, she'll love it, which made my mom feel really good. The apartment was a good size and came with a full kitchen, sink, and a full refrigerator. Memory care had its own wing, but Mom can go from totally independent to level 3 or 4 help and stay in that apartment. They've been in touch with me trying to help me make decisions for my mom and giving me feedback. I got to sit with a nurse today to go over any special needs my mom would have and she assured me that they would be right on it and that she'll be well taken care of. They had a nurse on-staff full time and they're trying to get more nursing staff. We had lunch there, and the food was good. The vegetables were done how mom liked it. If they're serving something she doesn't like, she can pick an option and they'll make her something else. It's not a brand-new facility, but it doesn't look old or dumpy. It looks homey and welcoming. They can put decorations and bookshelves outside their door to make it like it's their house.

My mom has moved into Meadow View. We have been extremely happy with it so far. Every one of them has been extremely nice and extremely helpful. My mom is so much happier and much more positive. Her quality of life has improved. They have very nice rooms. Mom is in a studio. It is all decorated including the entry way. The staff pick her up every morning in the wheelchair to wheel her down for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and for any activities. They don't allow drugs or pills in the room. That's not a big deal, but it is really nice. We are very pleased with that. We couldn't be more happy right now with the way things have worked out. We ate one meal with my mom, and it was very good. Mom is eating much more. She used to have BOOST for breakfast and then Ensure for lunch, but now, she is having cereal, eggs, and salads. There is a good variety. The menu itself is not something that she would particularly really care for, but they offer her the opportunity that if she doesn't like anything, she can order soup special. The food is adequate. I think the value for the money is good. With the level of care that she is getting, I think it's great. I'm happy with it. They have some exercise, but Mom will not be probably doing those because of mobility. They have movies every day, card playing activities, and rummy cubes. They have a large area where all people can come out, sit and congregate if they want to. They take people out to a store, and provide all local doctor appointment transportations.

We toured Meadow View Assisted living and Memory Care. They didn't have beds in the memory care, so it was not going to be an option for us. The memory care facility was very homey, and I liked it. The person who accommodated me was very nice. I would love to place my parent there if they had a room available, even though the distance is far for us.

Meadow View was a very nice one, but my in-laws wouldn’t go to that far. They are a small community, and it does have more sense of family. Actually, if I could have talked my in-laws into it, this would have been a better place for them. I went with another person, and they showed us around, answered my friend’s questions, and even said that if we have any other questions to just drop by. The rooms were clean and comparable.

We visited Meadow View. They have independent and assisted living. It seemed nice. The rooms were OK. They were just plain rooms, but they were not bad. The dining room set-up was good. They have exercise classes and outings. They also have people come in and play the piano.

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are an active community here! Currently our walking club members are tracking their miles and some will receive their 100 mile certificates from Mayor Petrie in July. Our residents track their miles and everyone sets their own pace. For some it will take a month or two to reach 100 miles and for others it might be 12 months. But everyone is having fun and enjoying their accomplishments! July 17th at 6:30 Meadow View will be hosting a community ice cream social and car show. The residents are inviting family and friends for an evening of yummy treats and socializing. Everyone is invited. Please stop by we would love to see you again!
