ALFE I is in a residential neighborhood of Foster Village in Halawa, a suburb immediately west of Honolulu, HI. It's conveniently near Aloha Stadium and surrounding shopping centers, as well as Pearl Harbor and Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center. The facility is a short drive from Waikiki via Interstate H-1.

Licensed as a Type I Expanded Adult Residential Care Home facility, ALFE I provides long-term care services for up to five residents, including those in need of 24-hour assistance. Respite and hospice care services are also available. The staff consists of certified nurse aides and caregivers with CPR and first aid training, providing professional elderly care under the supervision of a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN).
