My mom moved to the memory care of Villa Palazzo, and so far it's been excellent. I like the fact that it's a Montessori community, they go there to thrive and not to die. The physical appearance and the decor are beautiful, they have halls set up that are geared towards the state of Georgia, such as Georgia Bulldogs, pastry street, Southern Comfort, Savannah, and so on. The room is adequate for what she needs, it's a private suite with a bathroom and no shower, and they have a spa area. The only thing that the room does not have is a personal shower, just a bathroom. They provide exercise, they provide outings where they take their residents shopping, to the botanical gardens, or the zoo for a day out and just sightseeing the community. They have bingo, a movie theater, they have a salon, and they have an ice cream parlor. The value is adequate for the services that they provide. We chose them also because they had adequate space and availability for my time of need.

We found Villa Palazzo for mom, and she's moving in tomorrow. I like the area. I like that it was small. It wasn't too big, and it was very welcoming. The residents were happy. It's very clean. They have a lot to do. They have TV. They have a weight room. They have social gatherings, where the residents get together and do Bible study or play cards. We have a studio for her. It's adequate. They're in the process of redoing the garden area, but it's a nice little area where they can go out. They have tables and chairs, and they do activities out there as well. I haven't seen the food. They offer rides to and from doctor's appointments within eight miles.

My loved one is in Villa Palazzo. It's a nice facility and it's less expensive than most of them. He likes the food there. He's got a two-room apartment and it's a nice size. It's a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen. He's happy there, which I was surprised he was, but he is. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They've got like an atrium and he sometimes walks. It's an enclosed area in the building and he can exercise outside there and walk. I know they have activities, but I don't think he participates in them. They have some exercise equipment. He does physical activity with a staff member. All he does now is go to the doctor and watch movies. He thinks he might be able to drive again, but I doubt it very much. He could have his own car there. He's been in the hospital twice now and both times they've taken care of things for him, and kept his mail and all that for me.

We kind of just showed up at Villa Palazzo and they showed us around. I'm running out of time to go and physically do the tours so that's why I tried to do it yesterday. My brother needs full care. He can speak and eat but he has incontinence that he needs help with. He needs help standing up because he can't stand or walk yet so we went to see assisted living with extra care. The place is under renovation right now so everything is nice, fresh, and clean. We had a really good impression. The staff was very, very nice too. I think they'll be exactly what my brother needs. If we can afford it, this will be the place we will choose. They have a spa, a physical therapy room, a sports room, a gym, and a room that can be reserved to have dinner with the families.

My husband is in Villa Palazzo, and he's very happy. At home he's lonely because most of the time he's alone. Now he has found people. He can go outside in the garden and have chats and conversation with the other residents living there. He said the food is very good, and he likes his apartment. He has two rooms, and he loves it. All in all, he's very happy, which makes me very happy. He's doing most of his cleaning because he wants to be busy. He is doing his laundry himself, although somebody would do it for him. I had to bring him his own laundry detergent. He's dusting to stay busy. He would have mentioned something to me if he was not happy about it. He met a few residents, and they met in their apartments or outside in the garden and talked. The outdoor area has a very calming atmosphere. They have a little waterfall with chairs around it. I could see residents sitting in front of it and just looking at the water. They'd talk and chat. He enjoys the food. He says it's very yummy. It's warm and tasty. There are choices, and he always finds one he likes better than the other. Breakfast is between 8:00 and 9:00, and then there's snack time at 10:00. Then 12:00-1:00 is lunch time with coffee or tea at 3:00-5:00. Then 6:00-7:00 is dinner time.

Villa Palazzo was called Sandy Springs Place before and they literally changed their name on the day we showed up, so they were disorganized, unfortunately. They didn't know I had an appointment with them. One came out and talked to me, and we were able to see a room, but we weren't able to tour the facility. They were switching ownership. The pricing was better, but I didn't feel comfortable putting my mom there first. They only allowed us to see one room. It was a decent size, but with a little less closet space. They had a community space, so I'm sure they have activities. It's two floors and they have a memory care wing as well. It just needed some updating and the person who toured me talked about what was going to happen under the new management, and she included that they needed some updating.

It was a great facility. The staff was very hands-on and took very good care of my mom. I have nothing bad to say about them. Mom was in a semi-private room, and the price was good. There was an outside area where she could go out to on her own. They had music and all kinds of activities. The residents looked very happy.

It was good and the staff was just as helpful. There’s more people and more activity, so if the elderly person is OK with that, then that’s good. It looked excellent with all different activities. In the building itself, there’s a bistro, a nice and comfortable looking dining room, and the rooms themselves were a nice size and very clean.

It seems like a nice place. My mom was in another place for four years, but this one is different and newly renovated so everything is in good condition. There seems to be a lot of activities going on. My mom seems to be content with the food. The staff’s work attitude is good. The surroundings and environment are pleasant. So far, we have not had any issues with this facility. Everything is going fine.

It was very nice. The people were extremely nice. I would recommend them to anybody, I really would. And if we were going to move down closer that way, I would move my husband in there.

The staff here is amazing! My Dad is a resident, and he is treated like family. They have activities all day to keep him occupied. I have been very happy with the care & know that we made the right decision.

My experience was very good. I didn't see much of the rooms, but they're clean. The whole impression was light, bright, clean, nicely landscaped, and pleasant. They seem to have the whole gambit that the place that we are in has all the activities. They have buses to take people to places. They have all kinds of games like card games, Wi-Fi, computers, checkers, movies, and trips for the people. I'm confident that my loved one is safe.

I went and it was very nice and very clean. Everybody was very friendly. I thought the rooms were adequate. I was only able to see the studio. I didn't see any activity, but it seems they have enough activities to keep my mother occupied. I saw the menu, but I did not try the food.

My husband and I met several staff members when we visited and all were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It is a lovely facility and the apartment they showed us for my Mom was very nice with a new chrome refrigerator built into the cabinet in the kitchen at a height easy to reach. The grounds are lovely too. They are very responsive to calls and questions and were willing to work with us.

I just had a tour. I would say that the lady who took me through was very nice. Their rooms were spacious and nice. However, the negative things about the place were the difficulty to go there in the morning and evening because of the traffic and the difficulty in finding a parking space for the visitors.

I went to this facility to visit several of the residents to ray for them. I have had the privilege of going to several of the facilities to talk with some of the residents. The first thing I noticed about this facility was the fact that it was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. Despite the amount of residents at the facility, the staff were able to handle the specific needs of each individual person there. This would be a facility that I would definitely recommend for others to go to. The size of the rooms were definitely a plus! There was also alot for the residents to do, bingo being one of the main attractions. They will definitely not be bored here nor will they be under-cared for. This is the place you want to leave your family if they are in the area!

They were very nice. The rooms were huge and my stepmother was very comfortable. The staff was very cheery and made her feel very good about herself. I did a lot of research before we sent her there and they seemed to be the best and the cleanest. The doctors there were very knowledgeable about her conditions and made me feel more comfortable about leaving her there. Overall, this very emotional experience could have been terrible. Instead, the whole thing went as smoothly as possible. She felt like the staff there were her friends. She was very comfortable which was strange considering she is not the nicest, open person. She was very set in her ways. She seemed brighter when we brought her there. Almost like she was at peace with the way things were going. The sense of peace that we all got from the experience is almost overwhelming.

I recommend this place. I have an aunt that is a resident and whenever I visit her she tells me how wonderful everything is. When i visit i notice staff members taking care of the seniors individually and meeting there needs. I saw most of the seniors playing Bingo, karaoke but Aunt was more interested in the television and playing board games.
