My relative has moved into Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. We chose them for lots of reasons. It was a good recommendation from a friend who lives there. It is beautiful and well-maintained. The people are very friendly. The programming that they offer is excellent. The amenities are great. The public spaces are beautiful and well maintained. The individual apartments are nicely arranged and seem to be well- maintained. The other places that we saw were way below this one. This was definitely the top. The staff members are very competent and very friendly. The people went out of their way. That's the same thing that my friend who lives there had recommended about them. We're very pleased with everything and have no complaints at all. I had two meals and the dining room was lovely. You're given a menu with unlimited choices. My relative and I were very satisfied with both the meals. He just got moved in yesterday, but the list of activities is just amazing. It's well organized and there's a huge variety and I'm jealous. It's a little more expensive than the other two places, but what it offers is just way above and beyond.

We are moving into Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. We were able to eat there, and the food was good. It wasn't a five-star restaurant though. The place is very clean. The rooms are nice. But the doors are too narrow and too old. I'm in a wheelchair, so I couldn't get into some of the rooms. We met other people while we were doing our visit, and they were very nice. The people that lived there seemed to be happy. The staff was very nice. They're very helpful and very polite.

I will be moving into Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. I was impressed because it was an open area. There are a lot of walking areas around it. I just like the way they set it up. There was a garden that you could walk through. They have a swimming pool. I like the people that I've met there. I had lunch there twice, and I was very impressed. The staff was very helpful. She called me several times in between. I liked her a lot. I met some of the residents there. They all had positive things to say. They were all very nice. They have all kinds of activities. They are busy all the time. You could stay busy 24 hours a day. They have crafts. They have a lot of people who play cards there. The minute I walked in, I felt that it was the place for me. I liked it.

We are moving into Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. We toured a lot of homes, but when we got to Brookdale Chambrel Roswell, it blew all the other ones away. It's bright and cheery. The apartment that we have is very open, very bright, and fairly large. We've just enjoyed what we're seeing, and we hope that it continues. They have two meals a day. You get breakfast and either lunch or dinner. They have a swimming pool. They have all kinds of activities like poker room, mahjong, bridge puzzles, choir, and bible study. And there's so much more that I'm not leaving out. The staff we met are very, very helpful. They're concerned about our well-being, and that's another one of the reasons why we chose this place. The food is excellent, too.

I moved into Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. The staff is excellent. They're wonderful and very helpful. My mother also lived here years ago. I didn't think about it until a friend mentioned that, and so when I went over there, I felt really familiar with the location and everything. I felt at home. I like the atmosphere of the whole place. Everybody was very friendly and helpful and answered questions and that has continued. They're accommodating. It's a really friendly place. The room is much smaller than the place where I was living, so I'm having to adjust to that. It has an updated little kitchen and the bathroom is very accommodating. Everything is just small, and it was in my price range. They had tons of activities, but I haven't participated in them because I'm just moving in, but I will. The dining room is inviting and you sit with different people. You have a maid to change your sheets once a week and wash your towels and sheets, so that's great. I feel like everybody is helping you all the time. The staff is right there to help you if you get lost or anything. The food is very good. I go to breakfast and lunch, but I haven't gone to dinner yet. It's seasoned well and it's good. I can't eat it all, so I eat it at night, too. The staff is excellent. There's a nurse on staff and you can do physical therapy, but I haven't participated in any of that yet.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was excellent and probably the one that we will go with, because there were more people within my friend's age group and near places around that he would like to go to. What I look for in a facility is when the staff and residents intermingle with each other, and there was a lot of that there. I was very impressed with it. The grounds were beautiful. Their dining area was exclusive. It overlooks a beautiful wooded area that's just gorgeous. They have a wide variety of choices on their food as well. I really liked their apartments. They were beautiful and well-kept. They were recently remodeled and they looked nice. They were playing bingo at that time and there were also people out reading books and talking with each other. The room doors were open so you could see each other. They took their residents on an outing, which was really cool. They didn't just go to the grocery store and stuff, but they actually went to see an exhibit, which was something I wanted to go see. So I was pretty excited about that.

The people of this location are amazing. Wendell, the Executive Director, is kind, patient, and always responsive. Kate was the calm and sweet woman who helped me and my mom select Brookdale. Regina at the front desk is a pure delight. The food is good, the property is beautiful (although needs some TLC), and I feel my mom is very safe and needs taken care of. Being a caregiver to a parent is stressful and I have often been tense and not at my best when working with the team at Brookdale. They have always been kind and patient with me and my mom. There is always someone at the desk who can help. Love how there are so many long time residents. Would recommend this location for your loved one.

We visited other places and Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was the most outstanding and the one that I would have chosen if I were doing the choosing. It was excellent. Everything about the place was excellent. They served us lunch and the people in the dining room were happy with the food and happy with the staff. These were not actors. These were real people who live there. Everybody that we met in the halls and as we approached the main door, ladies were sitting outside and they all loved the place. Everything about our visit there was positive. The staff was outstanding and a lot of them had worked there for 20 some years. The fact that these people did not leave their jobs was fascinating to me, that they loved what they did helping those elderly people. We went to several available rooms. They all had separate bedrooms and they all had updated kitchens and updated bathrooms. The bathrooms were wheelchair accessible. They all had screened porches or balconies. The room sizes were, in some cases, small, but adequate. The grounds were like a park. It's absolutely beautiful. It's manicured. There's nothing about the landscaping or anything that you could complain about. There's plenty of parking for everybody. It was really good. They have a crafts room that's nice and a lot of residents were in there doing crafts for Christmas. They have a beauty parlor and there were people in there. They have a swimming pool, but it was closed for the winter. There's a beautiful library and a card room.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was very nice. I think they've undergone a renovation. They seem to have a lot of support staff, but it was just too big a facility for my mother-in-law. It seemed well organized. Everyone was friendly, and it was a beautiful facility. They have a courtyard and an outdoor pool too.

My sister is at Brookdale Chambrel Roswell. The staff is excellent, and the care is very good. The facility is also clean and up to date. The apartments are well-planned and good sized. It is very attractive. It's a fairly new facility for memory care, and the dining area is excellent. It's an open area with several tables, so that the people can talk to each other. It's a good value for your money.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was old, and the grounds are not well maintained. They're renovating but we haven't seen what they're doing. They were very nice, but we didn't see anybody. It's just that it's old, and that's kind of a turn off. The façade needs a face lift because it's very old; the main building is still very pretty, but the grounds are awful. They just need to fix the peeling paint.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was the one we had chosen until something came up with my little brother, and so my parents decided to go to Rome instead. We were going to go there, it was the one we like the best, and I really enjoyed our tour. The person who showed me around was very helpful and friendly, and I felt like the place was warm and welcoming. I really like the floor plan. My parents were excited because it had a screened porch, and they really liked that. It had a wooded area around it. My stepdad was going to be able to use the pool, and they had activities that I thought my parents would actually be involved in. The food sounded good. They said that they use ninety-eight percent fresh fruits and vegetables. I was just overall very impressed, and I really like the feel of it. Their prices were really good. I thought you got a lot for your money there.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was very nice. You could definitely tell that it had been there a long time, but they've been keeping on top of it. The staff was very nice. I got a cookie and it was the best. It was a beautiful place, but it was not the right fit for the level that my mom was at. She needed something a little more. Their assisted living was more independent care with services, and that didn't work for me.

The facility is old and need updating. The bathrooms are too small. The main problem is staffing. The facility is understaffed and the good caregivers and nurses do not stay there very long. The management is terrible. Do not consider the this place for you loved one.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell was outdated, kind of dark, musty, and kind of depressing, which are big turn-offs for us. The halls were dark and we just didn't like the feel of it. The staff was very helpful, pleasant, and nice. The grounds were fine and the location is good. It's an older facility, so it was definitely in need of some updating and sprucing up. I thought the pricing was reasonable. They should brighten the physical appearance up by painting the halls and maintaining it better.

I went to visit Brookdale Chambrel Roswell and had a great tour of the community! The sales person invited my husband and my mother and I to stay for lunch. We all really enjoyed our meal and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I met the director of dining services and was told that all of the meals are made in house from scratch.

My mother has lived in this community for a year now. It is a very old community and the common areas do need updating. They have somewhat updated the apartments which are acceptable. They offer a lot of activities to keep my mom busy if she chooses. The food is my biggest gripe. They do not have a chef on the property. The meals are very inconsistent and the portion size varies daily. Some meals are good while others are inedible. My mother no longer cooks so her main meal for the day absolutely needs to be edible. I think this property still has a lot of work to do.

I was very impressed with Brookdale. The staff did a very good job in guiding me through the facility. The rooms were a little bigger, and the price was in the middle. All 3 meals were included in the monthly rate. It was relatively new, it was in good condition, and it was maintained very well. The people were very friendly.

We had a favorable impression of Brookdale and got a lot of information. It was a nice place with low ceilings and a lot of things going. The cottages were far enough away and removed from the central area. We don't relish the idea of going outside to get to regular meals.

Brookdale Chambrel Roswell didn’t look like anything we were interested in. The whole community -- clubhouse and everything -- were a little bit older than we were looking for. The rooms and the cottages were in the process of being renovated. The room that we saw that was renovated was very nice.

I visited Brookdale Roswell and liked it very much. They were very nice and had a lot of programming with a lot of things going on in the community. The things on site were interesting, like the gym. The rooms were very spacious. The common area where people sit was very nice. They have a fountain and the sound of the water is very relaxing. It was spacious enough because there were people in wheelchairs who were not bumping into furniture or each other.

Brookdale was nice. It was a little bit older but looked very well kept. It had a nice dining room and nice, inviting common areas. The person that worked with us seemed very interested. The room was a little small but nice overall and in a very good location. The professional staff was very good. We met the person who does the food preparation. He engaged us for quite a while about how he looks at the menu, prepares the food, and takes the interest of the people living there to heart.

I visited Brookdale Roswell (formerly Chambrel at Roswell), and I liked it. It's located in an area that has a lot of land around it with a lot of trees, which makes it a little nicer than those place that are right in business areas. The people I had contact with were very pleasant. The rooms were quite adequate. I also liked that they had screened-in decks or patios. They serve 30 to 31 meals a month; when you've used your meals up, you pay extra. The lady I know spoke very highly of the place, which was why I went there to see it. They had all kinds of activities, like bingo and outings. Pets were allowed, but they had a separate pet fee. They had an upfront fee that's equivalent to one month's fee. Their one-bedroom monthly fee was $2,670, and the bigger one-bedroom was $2,995.

Brookdale Roswell seemed like a nice facility with nice landscaping. It seemed like there were a lot of people in the main area and dining room gathering for what seemed like different activities available. The staff was helpful in answering questions. She gave us the tour, and it was very helpful. We visited a couple of different sized rooms. We saw a one-bedroom and the two-bedroom, and they seemed nice with adequate kitchen and living room areas. The challenge for my mom is that she is in a bigger place now, so downsizing is always a challenge. There were people playing cards, and there was a beauty salon. There were people in the workout area too. There was a list seen on the screen of available activities to do like bus trips. It seems to have an abundant amount of activities.

Brookdale Roswell was developed as a senior residence with a lot of walking trails. It was clean. The lady who showed us around was friendly, and she didn't rush us. They had rooms, which were one-bedroom with a small bathroom, a small kitchen, and a small terrace/veranda. The menu seemed to be reasonable. They said that they use 90 to 95% fresh ingredients, they don't use canned stuff, and they try to use locally grown vegetables. They had activities like church services. The staff were friendly. We got a chance to talk to a couple of the residents, and they seemed to like the place. They were happy, so that was a good sign. The entry room was a fairly large open space, which was a large hall. They had an outdoor pool and a lot of walking trail. They also had apartments and cottages. They had exercise equipments on the floor and their own resident physical and speech therapists. It is an independent living and assisted living facility, and they are apparently now licensed to go and build memory care.

Brookdale Roswell has independent living, assisted living, and memory care. I was very impressed with the place and the people. It is probably not the newest facility, but from what I have seen, it seems to have what I am looking for because it has a lot of activities. I like the dining hours there, and the people were very nice and accommodating. I saw a one bedroom -- which I guess they call it like a den -- and it is nice. It has the full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and living room. It had a little eating area, an extra room, and a porch also. I like its overall impression of how they ran it, the activities they have, and the services they offer. It seems actually more than a lot of other places. They do outside activities; for instance on the day I was there, they had gone to a show. The only other one which I actually saw is they had a Wii bowling tournament. But they have other activities, and that just happened to be going on that day.

Brookdale Roswell is very nice. It has assisted living, but it is primarily independent living. The tour was very nice, and the sales person I spoke with was very nice. It is a very nice facility, but at that time, I realized we really needed more assisted living. He suggested the sister facility right across the street, but when I spoke further with my father, he decided that he did not want to come to the Atlanta area. It is decorated in a very traditional manner that is expected if you are in the Atlanta area. It is decorated well and appears to be clean. It seems that they cater to their residents too.

When I walked in at Brookdale Roswell, I felt like it was a lot more of an assisted type living. They allow their residents to run around with little scooters. The lobby did not seem inviting to me, and the people at the front desk did not seem very professional. They seem a little preoccupied. I did not feel very welcomed at the time of my visit. It is an older facility.

Chambrel is 35 acres and is the only fully wooded community that we saw. From the road, there's a sign that points to it, but you don't see it. Not only did we get a tour, but we attended a social dinner and dance. It's a quite active community. The food is acceptable. They are about 10 years behind on upgrades. They have old laminate tops and vinyl floors. The buildings are in disrepair. They have rotting wood, and it really, really looks bad. It hasn't been well maintained. We looked at the duplexes. A fellow invited us into his duplex, and, unfortunately, that was in disrepair, too. They've upgraded the main building itself. Aside from the rooms, they poured their money into that. That's very nice. The foyer as you come in was about the most attractive that we saw. The dining area set up was nice and adequate, and they have a place for individual parties. I talked to all the officers and had a consultation with the executive officer. Not only asked him, but I did a complete 2-page reappraisal. Once the renovations are completed at Chambrel, that, probably, will be our choice.

The negatives for Chambrel at Roswell were that it was way too big and it was not updated. They do provide two meals a day; however, the apartment that was available at that time was not convenient to anything. You have to do a whole lot of walking and my mom has a little bit of issues with mobility. Regarding staff, the one who showed me around was good. I like that they have a screened-in porch in the facility. However, in general, they need to update the facility a little bit.

Chambrel at Roswell was old and well taken care of. We saw a friend's apartment and it had two bedrooms with a bath each, bathing room, porch and a full kitchen. It was clean and all the amenities were amazing. A friend said their meals were delicious. I was very impressed, and from what I saw and from my friend's comment, I would recommend this place.

When I went to Chambrel, the lady who toured me was really courteous. She really went out of her way to show me everything and explained everything. I talked to some of the residents and they lived there for some time already. They did not have any complaints and everything suited them. It seemed like everything was good. There were also plenty of activities to choose from. There was an available room which could be repainted and recarpeted. I did not see anything that needed improvement

I'm a protective son, and I have zero tolerance for bad service. That said, Chambrel has never disappointed me or my father. This is quite a feat. The staff keeps me in the loop whenever I'm out of town or busy. They've never dropped the ball in terms of administrative coordination. They return calls within 30 minutes, max. In one medical emergency, they contacted me within 5 minutes of learning about the situation and had everything under perfect control despite the chaotic nature of a medical emergency. The facilities are well manicured, maintained, and quite secure. No crime issues, period. One great selling point was the breadth of activities and opportunities to elders all ages and conditions. Poetry club? Check. Frisbee golf? Check. Gardening club? You bet. Pet friendly? Always. It's peaceful, quiet, and not separate from nature (and even includes senior-friendly "hiking" trails that look quite relaxing). They also have a reputation for varied and delicious food. That's a great selling point for my father. These perks are very important to me. I find few things more upsetting than assisted living facilities that treat their residents as "things" - focusing on the body and not the mind or soul. Chambrel is special in this regard. I've never heard them speak ill about anyone, and they don't ever talk down to residents, friends, visitors, or family members. The staff has a gentle, intuitive approach to assisted living care - there's quite a bit of emphasis on dignity and (where appropriate) independence. Online research and the developer's website got us interested initially, but the grounds are what got us out of the car and on a facilities tour. Glad I did. So glad.

Chambrel is a beautiful and very clean. The staff is well trained and attentive to the residents. The rooms are large and well decorated and also cozy. There are many activities to keep the residents engaged and active, such as Arts and Crafts, Bingo, Bridge games, and programs as well as worship services. The grounds are lovely, nicely manicured with a beautiful fountain and sitting area. The menu is well planned with healthy options. There is housekeeping and laundry weekly for the residents. The staff is compassionate and caring and will meet the needs of your loved one. The residents a friendly and seem to really love the staff and the community they call home. Several told me the people there are their family staff and other residents. That speaks volumes, I highly recommend this facility.

This place was okay but when i came for a tour it seemed like a shortage of staff there was so much going on from a missing senior to records being lost. I am not for sure how the center is on an everyday basis but when i visited The environment just seemed too overwhelming and caustic for me.

My father is currently living here each time we visit he tells me how much he is enjoying himself and how the staff is very helpful. i met one of his nurses and really goes out of her way to take care of him she shaves him and if she is not there she leaves a note on his door so the other nurses will know to shave his beard.

The property is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, but the management is horrible. My mother has lived at Chambrel for almost 3 years now. Management has changed numerous times, but unfortunately not for the best. The business office manager was promoted from a housekeeper position (with no management training or accounting education). He is a nice young man, but unable to handle a 300 unit community. The rent is consistently incorrect. There was never a problem with our bills until he became business manager. It is almost impossible to reach any of the directors. Their assistants are wonderful and must do most of thier work because they are the only ones to return calls and solve problems. I have numerous problems contacting and getting any information from the engineering director. The activities lady never returns phone calls and was very rude when I tried to plan my mother's 90th birthday party- at my expense. Overall... the young men and women that work at Chambrel are very dear to the residents and work very hard to help them in any way. The building is very old and is popping up with leaks at almost every rain. However, the community has been renovated and looks beautiful. My mother calls Chabrel her home and has more friends than ever. She is very active and attends many of the events throughout the community. My advise is to be cautious of the management staff and follow-up with anything suspicious. Terms can and may change at any time.
