Legacy Ridge at Marietta is a really good location. It's only 15 minutes away from us. It's nice and clean. The director and the assistant director are also very nice. The concierge has spent a lot of time with my husband, and he really has made a couple of friends. He is picky, but he said the food is good. When they knew we were picking my husband up, as soon as we walked through the door, everybody came up, greeted my husband, and said that they were so happy he was there. They have a nice lobby, a little courtyard, you can only get in and out through the facility from the front door, a nice dining room with tables of four (and they get served), and a private room right next to it if you want your family to join you for a meal. Everything is five stars. They have a dentist that comes in, a podiatrist, and a lovely nurse practitioner. They have a barbershop, manicures/pedicures/haircuts, a bus that would take them to any of their doctors within a 15-mile radius, bingo, arts and crafts, memory games, and quite a few activities. Also, they tell you what you get for lunch and dinner. You choose what you want and if you don't like what you have, you can always get something else like a deli sandwich, a grilled cheese, a burger, or a hot dog. So, I'm getting a wonderful place for the amount of money that I pay. I highly recommend it for you to check it out and see if that's something that you would like to suggest to somebody.

We moved my dad here to the assisted living center in March of 2021 from another local assisted living center. My dad arrived in pretty bad shape after being in the hospital, and within a few weeks was back to walking (with walker), and doing so much better than prior to his hospitalization (Able to dress himself again and complete other daily living tasks on his own). He liked it so much better than the larger facility he was previously in. The staff at Legacy Marietta was super nice, the Director worked hard to make sure things were done, even if he had to do it himself, the food was very good (my dad was very picky about food), and everyone was caring and helpful. There was a med tech that worked nights that would come by my dads room and chat with him regularly. My Dad really liked it at Legacy Ridge Marietta and I would recommend.

We're planning to move my mom to Legacy Ridge at Marietta. We chose it because they do more for their memory care patients. The staff was also very accommodating. I had a couple of situations that I wanted solutions for, and they gave me the solutions, which I'm going to use. I like that the facility was bright, airy, and clean. They also have outside garden areas, and everything is on one level.

We are new to this facility, but the move-in process could not have been better, even during the Covid-19 complications. Two of the nursing staff members assisted us in unloading our mother's belongings from the UHaul truck. That was totally unexpected. From having my phone calls answered immediately by friendly and helpful staff, to dealing with the initial move-in requirements, I was completely satisfied. They have shown an interest in our mother and her comfort that is very reassuring. Thank you to Amy, Adam, Elizabeth, Emily, and Sandy.

Charter Senior Living of Marietta was a very nice place. Everything there was great, and I would highly recommend it. It's a small community that gave very good service and had very nice people. Mom played board games. The dining area was very nice, and the food was very good.

The location of Charter Senior Living of Marietta was great. The lady was very nice. The place was very clean, homey, and not too big. It seemed like the patients were pretty happy. The furniture was comfortable. It was not a fancy place, but it felt like your loved one would be loved and cared for. I met the cook, and they were singing holiday songs when I was there. I thought my father-in-law would have been happy there.

Bickford of Marietta seemed like a very nice place. I think what bothered me was their parking. There were hardly any parking spaces; I planned on visiting a lot, and that would have been a problem. I had an appointment with them, but I don’t think they were aware of it, although they were able to handle me very nicely. I just didn’t get the real warm feeling there that I did at the other places I visited.

Bickford was very nice, but the parking was terrible; it had very little. The location is fantastic; it’s just really convenient. I think they have assisted living and memory care. It has two buildings and two entrances. It was an older facility, but it was adequately staffed. The activities that they were offering kind of migrate a little bit with the residents, whatever the residents need. The activities that they had were kind of pre-school living type things. They were very simple and conveniently located for me. The thing that kind of puts me off for him is that the activities just seemed like the residents were not as with it. The residents were more demented or senile. They had an indoor courtyard, a bus, and shopping trips.

My mother is in Bickford of Marietta. I like that it is small, intimate, and close to our house. I am very happy so far.

I had a friend at Bickford. She was in a studio apartment. She and her family were fine with that, but that's not what my mother wanted. They had activities like bingo, movies, Bible studies, and the usual things. The staff was fine, and everybody was nice.

My sister goes to Brickford adult day care and she's doing very good there. I love it and it's really great. They take good care of her. They have activities like bingo, sitting exercises and they have really good things for her there. She is able to communicate with another person who is on her level. They kind of stimulate her a little bit. They give them lunch and they have two menus to choose from on what they want to eat that day. It is really a good facility from what I see and she comes back happy.
