Lakeview Manor was a small place with about 10 residents, so it was not a big facility. Yet, it was not too small that if she did not like the other residents, there were other people she could still talk to. I liked the location because it was in the middle of nowhere. They had a very nice lake with a gazebo where they went to sit or fished. There was also a nice wooded area around it. The only drawback was it took about 15-20 minutes to drive to town for shopping. The setting is beautiful. There's a winding drive that leads to a tranquil lake complete with Mallards that breeze across the water at their leisure. There's a short covered pier that has a gazebo at it's end and a covered porch with rocking chairs...but that's where the beauty stops. Inside is a boss-lady that has ZERO compassion for her "residents". I know because my Mother stayed there briefly. I also know she cried and begged me to move her, which I did. My Mom is now in Heaven with Jesus ...
