Tapley's Personal Care Home wasn't good at all. I didn't like any part of it. I especially started out not liking their security because I walked through the entire facility before I saw one staff member. I talked with the owner prior to going there, and she was going to meet me to show me around, and she didn't show up either. It was really not a good experience. They had 1 bathroom to 18 clients. I walked through and I said hello to the residents, and they barely held their heads up at me. They were just sitting there, heads hung, no interest in anything, and not doing anything. I wouldn't want my mother in that environment at all. It was set up okay, but the bed where she would be sleeping almost looked like two stacked mattresses as opposed to a nice bed. The facility was not good at all to me. I didn't like the overall environment.

This facility is nothing but a money maker for her meaning she finds a way to profit more than you realize-- barely enough calories for my sister in her condition and she should have been fed more but no one listened. My sister almost poisoned herself because she was able to access bleach they left out carelessly in the bathroom during her depressed state due to her declining health. Tapley touts herself to be a Christian and goes on and on about how she loves her residents but it's her way to get you to stay there. I took my sister out immediately after that incident and reported her.

I wouldn't recommend any of her homes. She let my brother in law deteriorate to skin bone befor sending him out,bye then it was too late. There's personal needs money on books she won't return,as well as pro rated rent due to he was transferred to another facility. The shap he was in when he entered the hospital soiled cloths pooped himself. Possible had mini stroke couldn't grasp or raise his arm. Again she did nothing. A cook she let go from one of her places said in middle of mo have to look hard for food to fix for the residents. No her places are bad as she is

We had to put My Mother-in-law in here for almost a year and I loved them. Mom was never alone. The menu was wonderful. Meals Scheduled and consistent. The workers always notified us when or of any change in Moms' health or meds. Mom stayed until she needed full care, we were sorry to have to leave here. Thank you, Mrs. Tapley and all your staff.

We placed my mother in Tapley's Personal Care Home. Overall, this facility is fine. This place is a converted residential home; however, it's very clean. It's also located right in Evans and it's very close to grocery store and shopping area. The staff is very good and very polite. They do a very good job. They take extremely good care of my mother. Mom is in a nice semi-private room. She has her own closet and her own TV. Food is excellent. They're homecooked meals and they're very healthy food. In terms of activities, everyday they're doing some type of playing games. They keep their clients active. They also do field trips.

I looked for a facility for my friend and I visited Tapley's Personal Care Home because I had personal reference from several people. They had two staff on duty all the time. They were approachable, they showed me around immediately and made me aware of everything. They also showed me the available rooms. The rooms were standard bedrooms with standard furniture Windows to the outside and to the secured yard were locked. I was present when a meal was served and it appeared very well-done. At this point, I would recommend this place.

My mother is currently in Tapley's Personal Care Home. The staff and director are very nice. But the facility is cramped. There are 8 or 10 people sharing 3 bathrooms. The place is clean but the food is average and not very appealing. I would recommend this place to other people because they say it's the best one in this area.
