I like that The Oaks at Evans is a smaller place, only 40 units, and so it wasn't so overwhelming for my brother. I thought it would be a better fit for him. They're very helpful and very friendly people. He has a studio apartment and it's got a refrigerator and a microwave and he has everything he needs right there. It's a nice size. He's not too crowded. It's got room for everything he needs. They have stuff going on every day, all day long. They have three meals a day, and then they have different activities, on different days. They have something in the morning and something in the afternoon for them to do. They have transportation to the grocery store. I stayed for lunch one day and had lunch with him, and it was very good. There's a hydration station, so it's there throughout the day with cucumber water or lemon water and different stuff. They have beautiful sitting porches to sit outside. It's just a nice place. The staff is wonderful. It's very clean and they've just remodeled everything. Everything is really good. The food is very good, very tasty, and there is plenty of it. It is quite pricy, and the only thing I was disappointed in was the nurse. My brother had some surgery and had to have some bandages changed and they said they couldn't do it, they had to have a skilled nurse do it. If that was the case, I could have done it myself while I was there, but she didn't tell me right away. All in all, I would rate it very highly because it's a very nice place.

The Oaks at Evans has an extremely friendly environment. Everywhere we walked, the staff introduced themselves. They knew their names. They introduced me to almost every patient that we saw walking around. They just couldn't have been any more inviting. A lot of the places we walked through, they wouldn't even talk to the associates while they were walking. But this one, they talked to every associate and introduced me to every one of them. Even the patients told me they wanted to recommend the place. They had an open space where they were having little activities going on while I was there with the patients. They have a calendar with all their events coming up for the patients to see. They could all go out front and sit on the front porch.

I have chosen The Oaks at Evans. I like the rooms. They're big enough. I like that they have three meals a day. That's nice. And the staff seems nice. The place looks nice. It looks like it's relatively new. They have a beauty shop and a barbershop. They have transportation, too. I have my own car, but if I needed a ride somewhere, they could take me there. They have an exercise area and a community TV room. You can have your own TV in your room, but they can have movies and stuff in there. They have snacks supposedly all the time. The bathrooms are nice. They have grab bars and everything. They have walk-in showers, which is important because I have trouble walking. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She showed me different sizes of rooms and then she sat down and went over the cost and everything. The dining hall looked nice. Plenty of space, plenty of lighting, and plenty of rooms.

It is all ground floor. The staff is older people, who care, know what they are doing, and have a good work ethic. The rooms are small, of course, but not too small. There is space for what I need. They do have assisted living - sort of. You have to pay $400 something extra for that. I didn't try the food yet, but the menu looked good I want to live there, provided I can find the funding.

The rooms at The Oaks at Evans were nice and the people were exceptionally nice too. I like the facility. It's really pretty and I like the layout of it. I went to visit during dinner time and they seemed to have a lot of people in their dining room. A lot of the staff was there helping people too. If we were to go into a facility, it would be that one. The place is very clean and very quiet.

I looked at the Oaks at Evans. Overall, the experience was very good. They were very helpful and gave me a lot of information. The facility was very well kept and organized. I was impressed with it, making all kinds of improvements to it as needed. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with what was available, when she could move in, and pricing. I was very impressed overall. The rooms were extremely small. I was surprised at how small they were, and how little closet space there was. The place was square shaped. It had a courtyard in the middle of all the rooms, which was very nice, and a barbecue patio covered area. The living area was a nice size. A bunch of people were playing a game when I went through. The dining area was right as you come in. The menus looked really good. There's a lot of variety. I met a guy who seemed to be in charge of everything. He was very proud of what was going on. He was very helpful, very friendly, very informative, and explained everything. I had a whole list of questions and he went down the list and gave me answers to them. Then his assistant came up and introduced herself and said if I had any questions to be sure to ask, and she had no problem with that. I didn't meet anybody else.

The Oaks at Evans was very nice and very clean. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I met the gentleman that runs it and the girl that gave us the tour. When we were there, they were serving lunch, and it looked pretty good. The dining room was very nice. They had a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio. They have all kinds of activities. Once a month or twice a month, they go out shopping and things like that. I was very impressed with the whole thing.

We didn't particularly care for The Oaks at Evans. There was very little in the way of amenities. The rooms were old and small and had not been updated other than the flooring. They need to update the cabinets and counters in the rooms. The flooring in the whole place was laminate, which was good. Brian, the guy who showed us around, was very nice and knowledgeable.

My mother chose The Oaks at Evans. She liked the location. The rooms were perfectly well-kept and adequate. The staff was very nice. I didn't look into the activities. My mother is not a social person at all, but she was excited about the afternoon tea. It was very nice, neat, and well-kept. The location is too close to a major road, but my mother loved the location, so that's why she chose it. it's in the process of remodeling, so not everything is finished yet. I liked the fact that it's a very small group, so you're getting a lot of attention.

When I first walked into The Oaks at Evans I thought it was very nice and kind of elegant. The units were roomy enough and satisfactory. The closet space was good. The administrator was very nice. The menu looked perfect. They have bingo and lots of activities going on per day. So, I think Mom will be happy there because she's a very active person.

I went to see The Oaks at Evans. When I went to the community, I loved the customer service part. They were very friendly. They were very caring, and they asked a lot of questions. I answered a lot of required questions about my father. I was 100 percent with their personability of making my father feel comfortable, as far as the workers go. I feel that she didn't tell me they had workers there that were upgrading. I feel that the establishment needs more upgrades. To know that you're going in and paying almost four thousand dollars for the services, it's not giving you the quality look for thirty seven hundred dollars. I feel that regardless of the customer service, this is possibly my father's home. The upgrade doesn't meet the status of the look for so much money.

It was very small with only around 40 rooms, but it was very nice and seemed like a very good place. The staff was very personable, and they checked on their residents nightly. I saw the 2-bedroom unit and it was very nice. There were residents sitting around in the lounge area and they were all socializing. It was like a social little network within itself with the residents. It just felt good there, and I liked everything I saw.

It was very good, welcoming, and clean. He is there now. Their staff and services are very good, and they're accommodating. The rooms are fine, and the food is fine; everything's fine. I would recommend them. They have Bingo, music, inspirational things, and card games. Every morning and afternoon there's something happening.
