My father has moved into Palm Shade Villa. I love them. They are great caretakers. They're really like family. The place is super nice, and the people that they have in there are nice. I just like it. They really take care of my dad and they've gone above and beyond. They do puzzles, they do songs, they play, and they do a lot of different things. He's not very active, but he tries to participate. He's enjoying the food because he wasn't eating that much at all, but now he is eating. They give him three meals a day and snacks twice a day. They said when he first came in, he wasn't eating that much, but now his appetite has picked up a little bit.

Palm Shade Villa was nice and very clean. I really cannot afford that though, unless my VA comes through. It was easy to get to. They have got lots of shopping close by. If I do not have VA, there is no way that I could stay there. I did not come in contact with staff at all, but everything was topnotch and immaculate.

The person at Palm Shade Villa was very nice during the tour. The place was just really dark and drab, and to get to the bathroom, the doors weren't wide enough. They don't really have a lot, it was just a house so it wasn't much. She had room gatherings for the people to watch TV, but the hallways and doors were narrow, especially to get to the bathroom. The cleanliness was okay, it was not bright in there so it's dark and gloomy. The lady was very personable and I like her a lot. she gave me a lot of information. We met one staff member, everything was fine with the staff. She was engaged with a patient so we didn't really get a chance to talk to her. The lady that did the tour was good, she was excellent. She was very nice, very informative, and I like her a lot.

I recommend Palm Shade Villa to any family that is looking for a safe, and caring environment for their loved ones. The staff there are patient and knowledgeable in the care of individuals with alzheimers. Palm shade villa is like a home away from home. The energy is warm and inviting. Everyone there is treated like family, and it appears effortless. These people love what they do and truly care about the wellbeing of the clients.

Palm Shade Villa was nice, its just out of our price range. It has a very friendly and warm environment, and the residents look happy. They were getting ready to eat when we were there, the food smelled good, and they can choose where to sit. The room I visited didnt have any furniture, and they said someone was going to come and redo the room. It was OK, theres just not a lot of parking, and it was a little confusing.
