We're very pleased with Provident Village at Canton. We wanted a facility close to us, a good staff, and they were so cooperative to show us everything, any questions we want answered, they answered them for us. If they couldn't answer them, they got back to us. We were very pleased to get there, and our friend really likes it, she's been there several weeks now, and she's doing really good. It has just been fabulous for us. Her room is beautiful, she has plenty of room, a huge bathroom, the shower is great for her. The staff cleans her room, they empty the trash 3 times a day, and we have no complaints. They play bingo every day, they have a library, they play games, and she can go to the dining room to get snacks and drinks. The food is so-so, most of the time. It's really good, but on weekends, they don't have the staff that they have during the week. They can get their nails done, they have a dentist there, and a podiatrist comes in and cuts their toenails.

I think The Landings of Canton Hills is going to be a nice place. It was really clean. I love that they have a courtyard and all the physical therapy that they offer. It was the closest to home and it seemed like it was just a lot better quality. Out of all the places that I visited, it was the best memory care facility.

There were a lot of things we liked about Provident Village at Canton. The price was one of them, because it was affordable for what type of care my father-in-law was needing. The person who did the tour was great. She answered all of our questions, was very detailed, and thorough. She showed us multiple options that we had for layout, square footage, and also the views out of the window. The dining area was nice, clean, and organized. All the chairs were put under the tables, and the tables and floors were clean. It looked great. They were doing live music when we went to walk and view the property. They had a country music artist with his guitar, and they were singing, then they have areas for puzzles and board games, a movie room that had stadium chairs and had a popcorn maker and drink machine. They also have a nice enclosed garden area with tons of bird feeders, bird houses, and butterfly bushes where you can get outside and see the grounds, and a little bus where they can take them out for outings to go out to dinner or go to a movie or something like that.

I toured Provident Village at Canton today and I think I'm moving forward with them. I felt that it was a good tour, and they took good precautions in terms of the COVID requirements with masks, and you really couldn't go and tour the first floor. We got a tour, it was nice, the lady who worked with us was really professional and informative. The room was nice, with a smaller suite. It was nice, clean, and what we kind of expected. We talked about that prior to going into the room. The young lady we spoke with was Whitney Grant. They have several gathering areas, the dining area now is not in use. They are not charging the residents to have the meals in their rooms, so that was nice. They'll bring it, come back, and clean your room with your meal just for COVID purposes. There are some areas for events and things like that.

Provident Village at Canton is too expensive. The place was top shelf and really very nice. It was a newer facility and everything was cleaner.

My mother-in-law is in memory care at Provident Village at Canton, and she loves it. It's new, clean, secure, and the people were friendly. They have arts and crafts, devotions, exercises, a hair salon, outings, and once a month they have a specific function, like this past month was a luau, so all the residents got together during arts and crafts and made all the decorations. They have an awesome dining room and the food is good. They wash their clothes and bed linens. I don't have complaints at all. They have a secure outdoor courtyard where they can sit and not wander. They also have a bus.

Provident Village at Canton was nice and brand new, but we still have our thinking capacity, and it's also a memory care unit. The staff was friendly. It looked very well organized. The people looked happy. The grounds were nice and well maintained. It's a little isolated, and the apartments were very small. They had a very nicely executed calendar day by day, daily devotional every morning at 10:00, a salon, exercise classes, and a Bible study every day, which was wonderful. They're also quite patriotic. They have a flag raised and lowered every day. There's a men's club, which was great. They had movies and popcorn, family day, and card games, something almost every hour if you would choose to do it. The rooms were so tiny that for two people, it would be very difficult.

Provident Village was beautiful and reminded me of an upscale rental place. We saw two vacant apartments. The bedrooms were a nice size with small kitchenettes, and people brought their own furnishings. There were a lot of interactions with the residents in the hallways; they answered any questions that we had and allowed us to walk up and down the halls.

Provident Village was very good; we are going to pick up my mother in law as she had an injury, and she is going to be home today, but she has been here for about two months. It’s a lovely facility. It’s well-staffed and well-maintained. The room was very well appointed, and it was a nice size. It had very spacious bathroom closet space, and it had a little patio area off of the room.

Provident Village was brand new, so it looked really good and in order. They were very friendly, very informative, and sat down and talked with us a good while about things we can do at home until it's time. We were impressed. They had scheduled activities for both assisted living and memory care. They did field trips and took people out to see local sites. It seemed like a happy place. The dining area was very nice and had different choices and snacks. It looked like a good setup.

Provident Village at Canton was immaculate, very pretty, and brand new. My treatment there was excellent. I was recuperating from a very bad fall, so I was only there for a 2 and a half month period, but I was treated very well, and I would recommend it highly to anybody else. They have very good employees that have a lot of dedication. They're very concerned about their residents, and they take very good care of them. They also have a very good activities program.

Provident Village was nice, and I liked it. The only thing I did not like was the outside space. This building was built like a square or a rectangle and walled on all sides. It had a closed-in feeling. My dad would appreciate somewhere he can look out and see something other than brick. Other than that, I liked it. It was very clean and modern, and I really liked the inside. I just met one lady who was very nice and helpful. The dining room was nice and clean. It's a new, clean facility. They answered our questions. I was pleased with everything but the outdoor space.

Brand New Facility. Very nice site/campus. Rates were too high for my family.
