I live in Wesley Woods Towers and it's a wonderful place. The staff is friendly, helpful, on the ball, and the activities are also good. I came from a terrible place and the food here is much, much better. The facility itself is not too great though. It's two round towers and all the apartments have angled walls and none of them are square angles. There's a workout area and they only offer one meal a day, but it's a large meal that's generous enough so you can easily divide it in half and make two meals out of it. There are ice cream socials, a meditation group, and a lot of fun, adult activities that we do here. This is a much better value than where I was.

Wesley Woods Towers was my mother's first choice way back when. They ended up opening after COVID for a long time so she was able to take a tour inside of the rooms and picked a room right out. She is loving it. The staff or employees are very helpful to her, they had her stuff tacked onto the walls, they fixed her stove because it wasn't working before she moved in. She enjoys them and she's got a lot of places to walk now because she likes to go for a walk. There's a lot of woods and big trees there, it's a beautiful place. The towers around also are interesting, like the room is an interesting set up. Right now they're eating in their rooms, but they have an elevator out and eventually they will have dining, but everybody will be separated because of COVID. They'll only have two people to a table. She was upset by everything else anymore and complaining, but now I don't hear from her much, which is great. The food is not organic, but it's so much better than the place she was at. The staff and employees for her, as far as I know, it's not perfect because of the way the front desk can be sometimes. She's an interesting character and very by the book, but the lady who showed us the rooms are terrific and the maintenance people are very nice. She's not very social, but she goes down to hear the guys play the piano outside, she goes to their exercises, they have devotionals, they also have a walking club. They're not doing many activities because of COVID, but once this is over they'll have a lot more stuff even. Everything else was a virtual tour, but once my mom saw the rooms and saw how people were acting she said she wanted it. Being actually able to go inside with a mask on was a game changer for everything, and they gave us lunch, and my mom was really into the shrimp salad.

Wesley Woods Towers PCH was well looked after. In the assisted living area, the residents were going back and forth and could handle themselves. They were with walkers and most of them were going out shopping or going out in groups. The staff member during the tour was very helpful. The dining area was excellent.

Our visit to Wesley Woods was fine. We were well received and our questions were answered properly. The rooms were good for people who want a one-bedroom. The dining area was very nice. The grounds were good, open, and had lots of trees.

I was very impressed with Wesley Woods. It was very well-organized, well-run, and well-maintained. The residents all seemed very content, happy, and friendly. They also would provide transportation to my doctor’s office, and that’s one of my big concerns. I can be on the waiting list for a bigger apartment, but the ones available are studio apartments. Wesley Woods is in a very large wooded area. They have a walking trail right up to the woods. They also have gardens that you can have space in.

I like the expense at Wesley Woods. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. The room is well lit and well organized. Wesley Woods stands out because the rooms are well lit and you are able to see. As you get older, your eyes are going to fail a little bit. Like most places when you go from a house to something else, obviously it is a lot smaller, but it seems fairly roomy considering what we were expecting. One of the things I like is rather than forcing me to eat three meals a day and charging me for that, they only give you one meal per day. I don't mind having to go out and get our own meals especially considering the difference in cost, so I think that is one of the big things they probably have going for them. You can either go out or fix your own meal. It would be a lot cheaper to even go out or to fix your own meal rather than having to pay for three meals a day for thirty days a month. The facility is very clean.

I like Wesley Woods. All kinds of doctors you might need are located in a building very near the home. It’s a high rise, and it has lots of windows which is very nice. The size of the rooms is OK. The disadvantage is this building was built 50 years ago, and they were mainly built for retired ministers and they did more studio apartments. In order to provide 1-bedroom apartments, they took 2 studio apartments and created an opening so that they open one into the other to make one part a living room and one part the bedroom. Each room then has a bathroom and a little kitchenette facility so your living room would have a little kitchenette in it. You’d be paying for a 2-bedroom facility, and that makes it more expensive. The food was very good. We ate at a table with about 5 or 6 women, and they were delightful people, just very interesting, stimulating conversation. It was such a lively group of women. I did like the staff very much; the marketing person was a delightful young lady. They do a lot of stuff, too. I saw the bus coming and taking people off to shopping and they go to movies and luncheons. I like the population of the people there. I thought they were very much still involved with life and interested in what was going on in the world.

The nursing home is very well kept, and the staff are very nice. THe nurses and Staff make an effort to get to know the families that come and visit often. My family member who spent her last years there was always accessible to us, and was able to come to church with us when we requested. I do wish that the food that is served to the residents was of higher quality, every time we visited we brought our own food to share with our family member. Management and Billing were alway easy to work with and made sure to help with receiving benefits and simplifying everything for us when we began to have to make decisions for our family member. Over all it is a nursing home that I would recommend, there are areas that they need improvement but the location is great, and let us spend more time with our family member

The services they provide which are rides to and from appointments, Their own private apartments and the option to be assisted with pretty much everything they could need help with. The independence is maintained by allowing the elders to decide what and when to do what they want. It's not a total institution which gives them that independence. They also offer fitness programs which also helps physically to help them remain active, which is optional. To be omitted to the towers, you must be a senior, A senior is classified at 62 and older.I was very pleased with the way everything looked and how clean things were kept. All of the activities they held for the elders were also a great thing for them to have.Being that the residents are so helpful and nice, I would recommend someone to live there because they would make friends fast and would have a homely environment that I think they would love.

Wesley Woods towers over one of the main roads in Atlanta. The "towers" as they have been come to be known, house several elderly residents in the heart of Atlanta. Convenient to Emory, it offers the reassurance of safety and security for your loved ones. The staff and volunteers take the time to get to know each individual resident, calling them by name as they visit on a daily basis to hear their stories and tales. It is a clean facility, much like that of a hospital, with plenty of light beaming in from the outside. The surrounding scenery is that of woods which offer a dose of privacy and nature, not often found in such a big city. As a granddaughter who often visited, I feel Wesley Woods was like a family. The staff often asked how I was and would tell me of my grandmother's weekly ventures. They were always polite and very friendly which made me feel happy to visit. They did not focus on the idea that your loved one needed help but more that they were on a mini vacation from home.

The staff was so welcoming at Wesley Woods, my uncle had become a resident after a battle with brain cancer had left him unable to care for himself. I visited several times whilst he was a resident and he seemed to be getting the care and attention he deserved, which left me more than happy. I would probably advise anyone else in a similar situation to look towards Wesley Woods for the care of a loved one who requires constant attention. The community around it as well as itself are both beautiful and there were so many activities to keep the residents happy and entertained. Aside from my uncle, the other residents seemed happy and content with their surroundings and the level of care they were receiving.
