My mom has only been in Village Park of Milton for a week, and so far it has met our expectations. I like the fact that it's a new facility and that it is mixed. I like the fact that they have the independent living alongside the assisted living. I like the fact that the assisted living is all on one floor. Everyone is very easy to work with, and anytime I have questions they get back to me. I've written emails to the director, and he's responded with the information that I asked for. Maintenance issues that were needed have been resolved. My mother seems to be pleased with the food. My mother has not participated in anything yet, but they have a walking group, they have arts and crafts, and they play different games in the library.

I toured the Village Park Milton. It is a fabulous place. It's like a five-star resort. It is a little bit pricey, so I'm not sure that's going to work out. Customer service, Shannon, was amazing, I really appreciated how detailed she was, and then a follow up email and phone calls, they know what they're doing, and they're very good at their job. It is a gorgeous facility. I would want to live there. Whoever designed it, they kept all of that in mind, it just had so many windows, so much open space, and was very, very inviting. It felt like you were in some resort off some island, just greenery everywhere.

We toured all the levels of care at Village Park Milton, and it was excellent. It was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was extremely dedicated and professional. We checked out the menu and tried their food, and it was first class. They had a really diverse menu, really interesting, and well prepared. The whole place just sort of felt like a resort. It's very luxurious in general. They also had a pool, a gym, a library, a little coffee shop, movie theater, and really nice grounds. It was shopping excursion day when I went there, so there were a lot of people who were out. We saw some people playing cards. There was a class going on in the pool, and some were having a little afternoon treat in the library with Belgian waffles and sundaes. What we saw during the tour was really good.

I would give Village Park Milton a "five," but it was simply out of our price range. We saw all the rooms, and even their studios were very big. They have wonderful little bistros and snack bars, they have some physical therapy, and they have a nice outdoor area with a pool. Everything was very nice and very clean. It would have been my first choice, but it was just out of our price range. They had a lot of activities. They have a card club, bingo, and a theater, and they have movies that they show outside. Everyone I met was lovely.

The Village Park of Milton has cottages. The person who showed me around showed the cottages and the apartments. She didn't take me inside the memory care, just pointed at it. It was upscale and they had outdoor fireplaces, indoor fireplaces, and a bistro area to sit and have coffee in. You don't have to be confined in your room the whole time. The sitting area there was just really, really nice. It looks like you're on a vacation at some hotel. They showed me the food and they told me that if my parents didn't like the food they have, they can request something else. There's a big porch upstairs that they had an outdoor heated swimming pool in and an outdoor fire pit. It overlooked Wills Equestrian Park so you can see the horses. It's a great location because it's right at Alpharetta highway, at the heart of Alpharetta, and it's close to my sister who lives in Canton, and close to me who's in Marietta.

Village Park Milton is a beautiful facility. People are very accommodating and friendly. We can't go in there because of the quarantine but from the phone calls my father is happy there. Calling and talking to them it seems like a great place. I got to go in initially with a mask and everything and do a quick tour and then bringing his belongings in. From what I see they are very professional and kind. I've only had very minimal contact with them; if I visit, it is outside and they are inside caring for everybody else. The manager, Susan is wonderful. She always answers email or phone calls and gives updates. My dad is a picky eater, the food is good, but if he does not like it, they give him something different. It is absolutely gorgeous, and it is brand new. From what I can see from my tour, it was impeccable and it was very clean. From what I can see from looking outside it is kept up very well. They do a lot of things. During the week my dad is very busy. They do singing and dancing, they bowl, indoor golf, painting, puzzles, memory games, and my dad gets physical therapy. They have musicians visit and play outdoors for them. They do quite a bit of activities. It is expensive but he's got 100% care there.

I found Village Park of Milton for my mom, and she moved in last week. It was brand new, and we had to pick a place that nobody had lived in. So far, very good. We had one problem, and the executive director immediately dealt with it. It was resolved within an hour; so very responsive, and it's been good so far. They had plans in place, we were able to communicate about Covid, they had a cottage that they had pre-furnished, and set it up so that you could make the transition easier. It was easy for the family. The employees have been fantastic, and the food has been fantastic.
