Gardens of Venice is very beautiful. It's outstanding, and the people are super nice. I have no problems here. I'm in a studio apartment with a walk-in bathroom and shower. The dining area is real nice, and the food's good. They have a salon, books, and libraries. It's very clean, and the managers are great. It's worth the price.

I wasn't pleased with Gardens of Venice. They showed us two rooms, we picked out one, put a deposit down, and about three hours later, I got a phone call that said it wasn't available. I did not go back. We requested that they mail the deposit back, and we just kind of dropped them completely. The facility was nice. They had a path for people to walk around. They had benches, and that was nice. The grounds were pretty open and bright. I didn't have any problems with the grounds or the building, but I didn't feel like it's proper business etiquette to take your deposit and your money and then call you and say, 'We don't have the apartment.' The staff did not know a lot. She had to leave the room several times to get answers to my questions. And they were simple questions that she should have known but didn't. With regards to dining, the dining room was OK. It was set up next to some windows so there was light there. The staff said they had activities, but she didn't go into what they were. I think they need to improve on the personnel. I think whoever does the tours should be more knowledgeable and certainly not tell you something that's not available.

We toured Gardens of Venice, and it was a close second. In some ways, I liked it a little better than the other one -- the room size, for example. The facility was very clean. The staff was very helpful, they gave us a great tour, they answered all of our questions, and they took us all around. We had a meal there, and I thought the food was very good. I didn't really see their activities, but they had an activities director, and they had daily things scheduled. They had a really nice courtyard, and it was a locked unit, so people wouldn't be able to wander in or out.

Facility is outdated. Old outdated wallpaper and carpets in rooms. Residents who need to be in memory care facilities are residents here without proper care available. Food is terrible, very seldom hot in the main dining room. Too much ethnic food for a generation that grew up eating comfort food, ex. Meatloaf, pot roast, baked chicken and casseroles, not food they don’t recognize! More importantly the sales pitch you are given to get you to enter the facility. Inconsistency, outright lies, poor communication with the residents, waiting list for maintenance issues to name a few. I would not recommend anyone to go into this facility . When covid restrictions are lifted I will be moving my loved one from this environment.

My parents moved into Gardens of Venice. Its very nice and they provide a lot of services. Sometimes they have a decent meal, and sometimes its returned to the kitchen. They have different things for the holidays. They have people come in and play the piano, do magic shows, sing, and they have some nice stuff for them. Theyre in a decent size room, they have their own bedroom and a private bathroom, complete with a shower, living room, and a lanai.

Gardens of Venice was OK, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. The rooms were adequate. The staff was very nice and seemed to be very accommodating. They had OK entertainment going on.

My sister lives at Gardens of Venice. The building is new and kept clean, nice furniture is provided, and the food is usually OK. However, some of the staff are sometimes rude and unfriendly, and recently none of them noticed that my sister was very ill until her paid companion called me to report her condition. She ended up in the hospital for four days. I hope this was a wake-up call to the staff!

My parents are now in Gardens of Venice. It’s furnished, and the size of the closets and floor plan are fine. The laundry and the housekeeping are good. The wait staff for the lunch room needs much improvement, and the activity director needs some polishing as well. The food is good. They have bingo, happy hour, entertainment, and arts and crafts. The security is excellent.

My friend will be moving to the Gardens of Venice tomorrow. From what I have seen, I think the staff are outstanding. They seem very capable. The rooms are above adequate. My friend's room is a corner unit. The dining room is clean. The place is brand new and well protected. They are excellent. My friend is very satisfied and happy with the place.

Gardens of Venice is beautiful and brand new. It's just absolutely excellent. We couldn't have found a better place for my sister. So far the staff is very nice, very good, competent, and very friendly. We have had lunch and dinner several times there. The food was outstanding. They have all sorts of activities, from movies, to trips, to bingo, they offer everything there. My sister does not want to participate in a lot, because she has language problem. But she's fine.
