I chose Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita for myself because of the balcony mainly, and the location. I have a nice view and I'm on the third floor. I've got a nice, wide, big balcony. I am not happy with the food though. They bring me my medicine. The staff is very good, very helpful, and very nice.

The Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita is assisted living but they have independent living people living in the same area. They don't have the full end-of-life care, the continuum of care that takes you to the end, so their services are less than what I was looking for. I did enjoy the visit though. I like the rooms, they're very nice and I thought they were very good. The people I met and the person who gave me the tour were really good. I checked their dining area and it was very impressive. It has a very nice dance floor in the middle of it. They have a lot of people that come in and entertain on Fridays. It was older but it was a good facility.

My mom will be moving into Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita. I was very pleased with it. I thought it was well-lit, inviting, and welcoming. There were plants and places to walk outside. I thought it was very nice. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. She answered all my questions whether they were stupid or not. She was very caring. I felt like she was concerned and willing to take as much time as she needed. The food was wonderful. The staff invited us for lunch. The dining room was full, and many people were down there. It was very elegant. The staff introduced us to the nurses and the chef, too.

Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita seemed to have a very good community. We happened to be there during their activities time and they had a singer who performed and it was very good. The residents interacted with the man and enjoyed the concert. Some of them were up dancing. They were having a good time. We were offered cocktails, soft drinks, water, juices, whatever we preferred. We had a very nice tour. Our tour person was very personable and showed us both the one-room and the two-bedroom setup and both looked very adequate. They have an activity exercise room, rehab, physical therapy, library, and areas to interact with friends, play games, etc. The dining area appeared very adequate. The facility appeared very clean.

Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita was older, but it was very positive. I met the director of marketing and she did give me a tour. She was very nice. I met some of the nursing staff who were in the hallway. The apartment they showed me was beautiful, very clean, and nicely furnished. It was a nice facility. The apartments were very clean, newly painted, and furnished, with new carpeting and all, but it was an older building.

I was able to tour Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita with my daughter and we thought it was lovely. It was a nice place and I would recommend going to see that at least and getting information from it because it looks ideal. The girl that we met took us everywhere and showed us the facility. She was lovely and very nice, and she gave us the paperwork. They had a pool so I could do water aerobics three times a week. They have their own personnel, they don't get them from an agency. They were doing exercises where the dining area was, and a lot of people were joining their exercises, so that was very good. It's close to a lot of restaurants, there's a big Publix grocery store on the same street, and there are a lot of churches in that part of Venice. It's an ideal location especially for visitors if they had to stay overnight in any place or hotel, they're not far.

Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita was very nice. The staff was great. The luncheon area was just terrific. I had residents that stopped me and told me how nice it was there and that I would love it there. I saw a small room and a bigger one and they were very adequate. The location was great, too.

We had an in-person tour of Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita. We loved the person who gave us the tour and talked to us. The people in charge were very friendly, answered all my questions, and were very transparent with all their answers. I would highly recommend it to somebody who was looking for assisted living. They had a main ballroom right after you walked in the door, and that was multipurpose to be used for several activities, such as dancing or exercise. They have all the amenities, like a pool, a craft room, and a painting room. It was all on that main level as soon as you entered the facility, so it was easy to access for everyone. The apartment sizes were of good quality.

My dad moved into Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita. They have a lot of nice activities. The meals are very nice as well. They have a very healthy portion and a lot of choices. My father's eating a lot right now that he never did before. So I'm hoping with some activities and some good food, his strength will come back and he'll enjoy life more. The staff is very helpful, very friendly. Everyone knows the residents by their names. They have bingo, mahjong, and pinochle. They have Friday happy hour where the residents get up and dance to the music.

The regulae staff is super but mgmt cannot staff properly at night or weekends. They fail to perform the necessary assessments and increase the level of assistance. Every day seems to bring more drama as each morning we discover a new surprise in the lack of care. Would not choose again if we'd known.

It is nice but I don't think it's a great fit for my mother. The people were very nice and I liked the place. The person who gave the tour was also very nice and the rooms were nice. It's older, but it looked like it was clean and there's nothing wrong with it. The pool was small and it didn't look like it would be accessible for my mother. It wasn't a walk-in pool, so that wouldn't have been good for her with her limitations.

I saw a two-bedroom and the layout was good. The dining area was normal with tablecloths. The staff was excellent. The residents were playing a card game. They had a pool and a library.

It was our second choice. The place was beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had lunch there and the food was good. The units were nice but small. They had a hotel fridge rather than a full fridge, so it didn't have a homey feel and was more like a hotel.

It was very nice, and I liked it. The staff and the rooms were very nice. They included a refrigerator and stove.
