I am a resident of The Villas of Casa Celeste. I came here a year and she showed me an apartment and they've done a lot of upgrades here. They get my laundry, and they have food three times a day, and housekeeping. They give you your medicine in the morning and whenever you need it, they come by. It's locked up and they give you your medicine and I like it. Their office helps, and all of them are very nice. They have different things. They hand out a sheet and they have activities for the whole month or three. I don't go to a lot of it because I'm not one of those people who go to a lot of things, but they have music. They have cards, they have bingo. We're trying to get some other games started. They go to the stores, they have a garden club. They have happy hours with music once a month. They have birthday parties with maybe a singer. There are different things that they do. They do have transportation if you need to go someplace. They do have people that can take you.

What I liked about The Villas of Casa Celeste was the separate villas. They're one-bedroom villas and they're nice. The other places gave me a nursing home feel, and I didn't want that. I will have my own apartment there. It's three meals a day and I can go wherever I want to. It's just really nice because I have my own space. The staff is very good. I like them. They are very nice and very, very accommodating to you. It seems quiet there. I went into the cafeteria. It's nice, too. Each villa is on the U (shape) and each villa has four residents together. So, you have neighbors, but you don't and they have a patio that was paved, which I liked.

What I like best about The Villas of Casa Celeste is having my own private apartment, and there is assisted living if you need it, which I need right now because I have a broken hip. They have good staff here. If you need your medication given to you or if you need more care, they will do that. They clean your place once a week and do your laundry once a week, unless you want to do it yourself--then they have a laundry room. They provide 3 meals a day, they have great activities, they take you to your doctor’s appointments on certain days, and they also take you shopping every week to the supermarket like the Dollar Store or Wal-mart. So they do get the residents out that want to go out.`

I have never seen an assisted living facility that provides the excellent and sincere personal care Casa Celeste does. One trip there and one discussion with any patients will more than confirm this. The grounds are more beautiful than the photos show.

The people lived in villas, and it is a very charming community. Casa Celeste is a gated community. They leave the gates open during the day and close them at about 8 o'clock at night. It is not institutional looking, it's the little one-storey villas, and they have nice little courtyards. It is very clean, they have a couple of ponds with fountains, and they've got wild life -- all kinds of birds and turtles. It is very nice, and the staff is very nice, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. It is just very institutional. My mom is there now. They serve everything on plastic dishes, and the coffee cups look a little fuzzy inside. I had my mother bring her own coffee cup, and she brings her own milk because they use this powdered stuff or like skimmed milk, so she brings her own little bag with her own coffee cup. They are very nice. My mother chose it because she needed to choose where instead of me choosing. It was recommended to her by a couple of people, and it is relatively small. They do have that care for some of the people, but my mom seems to be doing well up there. They have a weekly social, and she has gone to a couple of those. She kind of complained about the food that they served there. She played Bingo once, they go gambling, they play poker, and they go to the Hard Rock casino. They go to the grocery store, and I think they go to like Walmart once a week. They accept pets, and my mom has a small dog. It is nice, but the food is a major thing. The owner's daughter is particularly nice. My mom is just very independent, and she looks at this as a very difficult time. She has only been there for about six weeks, so she is still transitioning.

The Villas of Casa Celeste is a very nice place. The staff were very, very nice. They have little houses which I find very cute and I like that, but they were just expensive. I just didn't like that you need to go outside to go to the dining room.

Back in June, my dad moved in The Villas of Casa Celeste. It is a very clean facility. We chose this place because they accept Medicaid and there are very few that accepts Medicaid. They're very aggressive as far as getting you in there and processing your paperwork. They're also very detail oriented. The residents are very nice.

Father has been there for 1 1/2 years and has always experienced helpful, curteous, and friendly staff. My father is insulin dependent diabetic and whenever I could not reach him by phone I would call the office and they would send someone over immediately. Father is very independent and the villa that he stays in allows him to remain independent without having to fix meals or worry about cleaning so it is ideal for him. Am very grateful that we found this place and would recommend it highly to anyone.
