Beloved: I am the wife of a resident presently being cared for at Oak Tree Manor. My husband has lived there for 3 years and my mother was also a resident 5 years ago. As a retired health care professional I can vouch for this facility having the highest standard of care, I am usually there 4-5 days a week to visit with my loved one. The place is spotless, the care is kind and compassionate, Rooms and bathrooms are user friendly for those who use grab bars, shower chairs, over the toilet helpers and whatever is needed to help each resident. Food is tasty and well prepared. The staff is welcoming to all and always ready to assist if help is needed. The dining room is bright and cheerful. There is a lovely veranda running almost the length of the front of the building. My husband and I love to sit out there for a snack or to enjoy the music programs weather permitting. This is a very well run facility that usually gets a 100% rating on State Inspections. The person responsible for such a wonderful assisted living facility is Kris G, Director.

To begin, the walls of the facility were lined with distressed, bewidered patients, the nurses talked to me like catty high school girls, there was absolutely no coordination or care whatsoever. They are currently holding my mother here and the owner of the facilty Kris physically assaulted me and my family and yelled at us when we tried to withdrawal my mother. This facility is a sanctuary for crime and mistreatment who will purposefully hold people at disadvatages against their will to extort money from them.

When it became the "right time" and as her health care surrogate and POA, I searched weeks for a place I felt comfortable with to care for my Grandmother in her "failing" years. With dementia and other health issues creeping into her life, I found the absolute best care I could possibly imagine. Chris G. and her staff at Oak Tree Manor showed the love and compassion necessary to continue a great quality of life in a setting that is always clean and welcoming, both inside and out. I had the privilege of living close by and was able to stop in often, sometimes just to chat with the staff to see how she was doing. On many occasions I was able to observe her in another room enjoying others or watching TV but never found her or any other resident, for that matter, in bed or off on their own being ignored. She was always well kept and ready to go when I had the opportunity to take her out to family gatherings, lunch, doctor appointments and the like. To Chris and the staff at Oak Tree Manor, I can't thank you enough for all you did in making the last years of my Grandmothers life a pleasant experience for her and her family. Sincerely the best to you and your staff!
