My father has been in Mi Casa Adult Living Facility for a little bit now. It's been great. They're very caring. They take good care of him. He is happy there. The staff are great. They're excellent. My father's room is fine. It's not the Hilton but he has everything he needs there. He enjoys the food, too. It provides the services that we were looking for. The reason why we chose this place was because they speak Spanish, which is our native language. They also offer Hispanic food. It is like he is in our home, so that's very important to us. They keep it very clean. It is a small home. They only have 12 people living there. It is a very small community. We like that, too. They don't get lost or anything like that. It's like a new house with a lot of rooms. If they're looking for that Hispanic feel and they speak Spanish and that's important for them, this would be a good place. They offer different activities, too.

Mi Casa Adult Living Facility was immaculate. They were just finishing up lunch when I went there, and it was all in order. I have no complaints. It's awesome. The rooms were tidy. The unit was not big, but enough for two people or one person. I had a good feeling about it. It was the administrator herself who toured me, and she was very pleasant. She answered all my questions, and she was very informative. She took me around and described everything. They have a game room and a nice yard. They sometimes have live music. Musicians come in and play music. She also indicated that they have barbecues where families can come and participate. They have plenty of TVs and seating. The staff members were very pleasant and nice. They had uniforms on.

Mi Casa Adult Living Facility was actually a big house that was turned into a senior living facility, so it's very homey. The rooms were medium-sized. As far as the grounds, they didn't have much. Everything was more inside and they were still reconstructing some stuff. I think they were trying to build some stuff for the patios and all that. The residents we saw looked calm and comfortable. The director that we met answered all of our questions and was very helpful. She was willing to go above and beyond to help us get my mother-in-law in.

Mi Casa Adult Living Facility was like a house and felt crowded. I liked that the language was Spanish, but its narrow, theres not enough space, and its expensive. I felt claustrophobic. The staff was very friendly, very polite, and explained everything. They had dominoes. I saw people eating dinner, sitting, and talking in the dining room. They have a patio, but they dont have enough space for parking and a garden. It was clean and felt more like an institution.

Mi Casa was a more Spanish speaking community, but the people looked very happy there. It was more of a group home and that would not have been for my father. Plus the language barrier would have been a problem. They did have English speaking residents, but most of the people were Spanish. Everybody was very nice. The staff was very helpful, very nice, and very sweet. They accept Medicaid, which was a good thing. It's in a home setting, so they don't have a lot of room, but everything is clean and they have an area for them to go outside.
