We moved into Inspirations at TownCenter about 5 weeks ago. Our apartment is light and roomy. We have a corner apartment that's just beautiful. We have a washer/dryer, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher. The benefits here are extreme. There's a pickleball court, a pool, a cabana, and all kinds of games going on all day long. The food is outstanding. The staff is fabulous. The dining area has white tablecloths. We have a chef who does an excellent job. The staff is wonderful. The manager, Brian C., is likable, agreeable, and knows what he's doing. I can't say enough good things about it. It's just a great place to live in. They have dominoes, card games, book clubs, and all different kinds of games.

Inspirations at TownCenter is very nice, and the facility is new. The staff that took me on the tour was very nice and I was impressed by it. The apartments were very nice and more than adequate. They had a swimming pool, a banquet room, a bingo room, and an activity room. If I'm not mistaken, that is the one that had kind of a snack bar where you could have snacks. I thought that was impressive. The staff were excellent, and the tour guide was very good. I saw the dining area and I saw them eating the food in the dining room. I happened to be there around lunchtime. Everything looked good.

We went to Inspirations at Town Center. It was very nice. They had everything. They had a gym, a salon, a pool, pickleball courts, bocce courts, and two meals a day. It was basically only about six months old. The staff were very nice and very helpful.

Inspirations at TownCenter is brand new. It's very resort feeling (almost like cruise ship type), where everything's accessible. They have the dining, a little food bar, and a little bar. The rooms were very new. They have an elegant bar. They have rooms for couples. They all have a full refrigerator, a full oven, a full island with a sink, and a washer and dryer in each room. It's definitely independent living more than it is assisted living. They have a full restaurant, where they can eat and or get snacks and things. It's definitely an inspiration to somebody who still got a lot of life to want to do something or be active or socialize. Not to say that we did not see people with walkers and with oxygen tanks; they just didn't need the memory care or the assisted part of it. You can tell the lady there, Isabella, has been in the business forever. She told me she had been in the business since she was 13. It's easy for her to communicate and all that. She's topnotch.

I've chosen Discovery Village of Deerwood for my mom, and she's moving there. It was pretty good. I was impressed. I liked it. It was clean. It was really nice. They had an open courtyard that they could walk around. It was just a good atmosphere and environment. I met a few of the staff, and they're pretty good. The residents seemed to be happy and content to be there. They have a lady that does the hair. The rooms were pretty decent. They have activities.

I chose Discovery Village At Deerwood for my mother because I had several people tell me how good it was for memory care patients. It's also close to where my mother was living before. The staff is pretty amazing, and they have an activities director there. I'd gone there and had the food several times, and it was very good. They were having salmon one day, and it was delicious. Everything I had was really good. I have to wear a mask when I go in, though I still can't go in with all the other patients. If I go in to see my mom, I have to go to her room or go to a different room. Every time I've gone there, it seems like they're always doing something with regards to activities. The facility is really nice and clean, it's all flooring, and there's no carpet. They have an assisted living side, too. It's a nice area that's why I picked it. They also have a salon and a heated swimming pool.

My dad has settled in at Discovery Village At Deerwood and he's as happy as he can be. We're pretty restricted on what we can do there because at the moment we can't get in. But when we were moving him in, everything was really nice and new, especially the dementia unit. No one has been in his room before. They have a really nice courtyard which is all fenced in, a gazebo and little garden plots. It's really cool. I have only met the staff one time, but everybody has been really pleasant. Their meal service is really good. The physical appearance of the community is really nice and new. And the value for the money is exceptional.
