The building is fairly new and clean, the rooms were way too small and cramped. Most had no windows. My Dad is a smoker and it it not allowed there, so we did not ask any further about pricing or accomodations .

My mother and father both moved into Sunshine Gardens a year or so ago. The care there is amazing!! My parents love the atmosphere and are very comfortable. The rooms are rather small, but most residents spend time together in the large, main area. There is a lot of music and activity going on when I visit. I am so happy to know that my parents are safe.

At Sunshine Gardens, they had very good help. In terms of location, I do not understand why the facility is jammed into a lot where they don't have a room even to have a bus. In fact, they don't have a bus. They're also in the flood zone. They have to go somewhere else if they get a bad storm. They have no yard, and you would look out to a cemetery. There wasn't enough room in the dining area. However, their help and the lady that runs it were excellent. They're really good. They had a lot of good things going for them. In terms of activities, they were a little bit limited. However, the residents were happy there. There have been people there ever since they opened. The lady who runs it is very accessible. Her door is always open. Their rooms, however, are very small and you have to share a bathroom, I didn't care for that. However, they do have a really nice shower room.
