Please think twice before sending your loved one here. Please check other facilities. 1. They were very attentive by email, phone, text before my mom came to them. Afterward and especially when I started asking questions and digging out specific information, I was ignored for days and had to reach out multiple times and still to no avail. 2. No cameras in any part of the facility so when something amiss happens, they have no idea and no liability. This happened when they called me and told me my mom fell. Also, they keep DEA lock up drugs on premise. Why in the world would you not have cameras. 3. Poor diet. Corn, tacos, pasta, heavy gravies on top of dry meat, stuffing, pizza, lasagna etc. No organic whatsoever. " Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food". 4. Very monetarily driven. With no warning, gave me a 3 hour window to pay them a balance that I had no idea I owed as they never said anything before this day. They had a driver come to the house to pick up a check from me. My mom is there as if they would not be paid. 5. I have pictures of fecal remnants and urine on my mom's toilet seat and in the bowl. It was not cleaned or flushed and I had to clean it up when I got there. 6. I would find my mom in clothes that were not hers and her sheets and special adaptive clothing missing. Never reimbursed. They tell you they do individual laundry but why then was my mom in others' clothes and her sheets missing and having to use sheets from other residents? 7. I came in to find that my mother had no access to water and the tray was pushed up against her closet door. She was VERY dehydrated when I got there. This is NEVER acceptable. 8. Common excuse given to me by staff was they are understaffed. 9. I told them from the beginning that my mom gets cold easily and the A/C in the room can never be below 79 degrees. I even taped a note on the A/C. I came in and found my mom shaking saying she was so cold. It has been set to 76 degrees. 10. I was told my mom would be checked frequently but when I visited, I would be there 4-6 hours at a time and not one staff member came in to check on her during that time. I can only imagine what happened when I left but not having cameras in the room for safety, how would I know? There is more as well. Please, I beg you, be careful.

I went to look at Highland Place. The people are friendly. Even the people that live there now are very friendly. It's a convenient place for my mother and her friends if they want to visit. It's close to her house. If a family wants, they can stay in her house and visit her. She loved the food. She's been there for lunch a couple of times, and the food has been fabulous. The cleanliness is fabulous. Every room I saw this nice and spotless. They have a TV and movies.

I went to Highland Place. It's very friendly, the staff was cordial, and the residents looked happy. I didn't see anyone dining. It was clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly -- they were really, really friendly. I saw a studio, and it was small.

My friend is in Highland Place, which is a very clean, very nice place with great people working there. He likes it very much, and I will recommend it to anybody. We have been there several times, and we eat lunch with him. The food is great. This is really a great place. They have a lot of activities going on. They do Octoberfest, Halloween parties, and they play games.

I chose it for my mother. I was there with her for a week or so and she came to enjoy the place very much. She liked the food and she like the residents who were there. She was fine there. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I know they have some activities, but whenever they have activities I don’t really attend. I think they have some activities for coordination and my mother attended church services
