My mother decided to stay at Rosecastle at Delaney Creek and not move. The quality of care seems to be very good. They're very thorough, and it's spotless. They do Bingo, crafts, kids come in and play with them, and they provide rides to different locations.

I toured Rosecastle at Delaney Creek. This is one that I was the least impressed with. The person who was supposed to tour us around was not available. Another person who normally doesn't do tours provided the tour for us, and she could not answer all of our questions. Overall, just walking around, I was unimpressed with what I saw. The rooms were smaller than the other places that I had toured thus far. The residents looked like zombies. It was the least impressive to me. I think they had one of those fee-based. So, depending on what level of care you needed, they would increase and add on fees for more care, and I was not impressed with that at all. It could quickly get out of control and beyond my mother's income. I looked at their activities schedule for the month, and it wasn't super impressive.

This facility has multiple issues and violation against them. They are terribly understaff and unable to retain employees. My family member is neglected. He has been bullied by the staff and unable to get the quality of care of transportation to his doctor visits. I have to coordinate his doctor visits and constantly making sure his needs are met. The Food is awful and not getting better. There is no activities Director. I send puzzles and word games including all his personal care just to make sure the needs are met. It is a shame this happening not only to my family member but to others as well.

I had my mother in law here years ago and it was great. My Mom has been there for 2 weeks and with the lack of staff, its horrible and my mom has been neglected. The administrator Christopher who won't talk to me about the staff.. or lack of is of no help. Kristen, the director of nursing for 15 days just banned me because I asked the the nurse practitioner questions since she is now my mother's doctor. Christopher and Kristen said that I had no right to ask. They are terribly understaffed and my mom didn't get a shower for the first 10 days. I had to shower her. No toilet paper in the bathroom for 3 days, bed not changed for 4 days until I did it. My sister is the POA and I'm her caregiver. I have no rights and am told POA over and over again. I was banned yesterday and they called my sister and she begged them not to because I'm the only one who visits due to the POA and family having Covid. I was told that I was rude to the staff. I smiled when I went there, I thanked Sydney every day and was shocked to hear that I was rude to the staff. Um, what staff? The cleaning lady is great, Jon the nurse's assistant is wonderful but the administrator Christopher and the DON Kristen are bullies! My mom has dementia and has not been cared for the way that they said. Filthy apartment, no showers, no assistance in getting dressed, hygiene, etc. I'm embarrassed to say that I recommended Rosecastle at Delaney Creek in Brandon, FL as it is a mess! Full of promises but after they get your check, if you ask a nurse a question or the physicians assistant anything, you'll be accused of harassing the staff and then you are banned from seeing your loved ones! The residents complain how bad it is there. Rosecastle at Delaney Creek is not what it was when it was Delaney Creek! Be careful, don't talk to staff and don't ask questions and you won't get banned either!

Rosecastle at Delaney Creek was a very nice facility. Everything looked very clean and very nice, but it was expensive. The staff during the tour was great. They had a common area and a game room.

My parents have been in Rosecastle at Delaney Creek for a week now and the experience has been very good. The staff is very attentive and everything is really clean. Within the assisted living, they will take them out to activities, like in the bus for scenic tours. They have sing-a-longs, story time, crafts, and Bingo. They keep them pretty active. My father seems to be enjoying the food there. We have been very happy with this community.

Rosecastle at Delaney Creek was nice, but everything was kind of spread out, the hallways were dark, and it was very expensive. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and kind. They offered us refreshments and gave us a tour.

I visited this facility several times and the staff in the memory unit are very disgruntled. They complain that they are always short staffed and from what I have seen this tends to be true. I also heard that the entire unit had lice, this information was from a Doctor that visits the facility. Rosecastle is pretty but it is very superficial.

My mother moved in to this facility earlier this year. She had previously lived alone, but after her medical conditions worsened she needed an ALF. I looked all over Hillsborough County & we chose Delaney Creek Lodge. This facility is very homey and clean. The administration is helpful and all the staff is great. They currently accept the Medicaid waiver, which is a blessing. They always decorate for the holidays, have lots of activities and really care about the residents. I would highly recommend this facility.

My aunt just moved into this facility about one month ago and we are all very pleased with it. The atmosphere when you walk in the door is very homey and welcoming. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My aunt needs a lot of special attention and the nurses/aides are always there to help her. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
