My mom has been placed at Aldea Green. It's very nice. They do a good job keeping the grounds nice. When you first walk in, there's an area where residents can gather to talk or read the paper or whatever they want to do, and there's always people there. In other places I've gone into you don't see residents around as much, but you always see residents when you go to Aldea Green, and they all seem to be very happy. The staff is great. They take very good care of my mom. They're very attentive. They're always very pleasant. They go in and check on her very frequently. If she is not out doing one of the activities, they'll go in and check on her to see if she's okay. And if she doesn't show up for a meal, they go in to find out why she's not there and if she wants to go down. They're very attentive. My mom goes to bingo, they do crafts, and they have entertainment come in twice a week. They'll take them to stores. The dining room is very nice. It's like walking into a restaurant. My mom seems to like the food. I've only had one meal there and it was good. And they make it part of their job to know every single resident by name. Every one of the staff knows my mom by name.

My husband has been staying at Aldea Green assisted living for a couple of months. I visited him yesterday and I was not happy that he was still in bed at 11:00 in the morning, but they said he refused to get up. I got him up and put him in his chair though. They brought him his lunch and it was just a to-go thing and there was nothing to drink or anything. I was not happy with that. The staff is difficult to find. The last time I was there, I was very upset that the floor hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom wasn't very clean. He hasn't participated in any activities. They don't take him out of his room.

Aldea Green was clean. It seemed that they care for the residents. The rooms were nice and nice sized. The cafeteria was very open and the chef answered questions. It was a nice and clean facility, which I was looking for and they care for the seniors there. The staff was nice. They allow you to try the meal. They bring something for you and it was good.

The people at Aldea Green were very friendly. The chef came in and brought a sample of dessert, which I thought was different. They seemed to know their residents there. The facility was nice, clean, secluded. The cheesecake we had was pretty good. The room had a mini-fridge and a microwave.

Aldea Green assisted living looked very inviting. It's easy to navigate because everything was just off one main location. It has an upper and lower level, and it has an elevator. It was very nicely laid out. What I liked about the tour of the facility is that they incorporated a lot of the staff members. We met members of the management team, members of the maintenance team, several members of the kitchen, including the chef, and we also met the housekeeping. It was very interactive and lots of different staff members were involved. We saw lots of staff while we were there interacting with the residents as well. The room shown to us was very nice and comfortable. From what I saw, they're almost like an efficiency apartment. It had a kitchenette, a separate bath, and space where you could divide up your sleeping area, and a possible sitting or living area. We tried a dessert and their dining area was spacious right now because of COVID. It was open and there were lots of windows. It was a nice dining area, and very clean. The chef that we met has been there for 25 years. They seem to be very accommodating. When we were there, people were lining up at the dining area, waiting to go in so it seemed like it was a popular thing to eat in the dining area rather than eating in your room or needing something you could simply microwave. It smells wonderful too. The outside and the inside looked very well-kept, up-to-date, and more modern. We even met the head of maintenance at the building and it was nice. We saw their activities room and they also have a common area where they have social gatherings. They have a separate place, I believe, for reading. They had a salon and a place where they got their haircut and things like that as well. I would have chosen that place for my mom out of the places that I've toured.

I really liked Aldea Green. The people were nice, very professional, and very friendly. The facility and the rooms were very clean, well kept, wide open, and easy to maneuver. I liked the way that the chef made the food and that if they brought me some food and I didn't like it, all I had to do was tell them to send it back and get me something else, which was nice. When she came into the room to talk to us, she brought me a piece of cheesecake and a cup of coffee, and it tasted good. They have card playing, a pool table, an exercise room, and you could walk to the courtyard that would go down to a lake. It was very pretty.

I toured Aldea Green in Brandon. It's very clean and they have years of experience. They also pretty much keep their staff. The facility was nice, it was basically laid out in an apartment style, and it was bright. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They also have lots of activities. They answer a lot of questions, are very knowledgeable, and there's nothing you should be afraid to ask them.

Aldea Green, Assisted Living, has been a Godsend. The staff has been so great to deal with and so kind to my mother. From nursing, to the visiting doctor, to the kitchen staff, no problem is too small. They even cooked one of her favorite meals as a surprise. They answer my calls and my questions immediately. It has done my heart good. I don’t know who’s happier, me or my mother. Thank you, Aldea Green!

My mom did not like Aldea Green so much that she didn't want to go look at anything else. The place itself was nice, but when she saw people in wheelchairs and walkers, she felt like it wasn't the place for her because she still moves around. The staff was very nice, and the dining area looked fine. The rooms were a little small, but clean. We went to the activity room and I saw games, puzzles, and a TV.

The rooms at Brookdale Brandon were nice. When we went in to see them, the lady that showed us around and everyone else was nice. But she said that, "This room needs to be painted, and you'll have to paint it." For the prices we pay, I don't feel that we have to paint it; it just needs some updating. I don't expect anything perfect, but I expect it clean, and I expect it to be nice. The room also needed cleaning up. Maybe they didn't get to it yet, but it was kind of a turnoff. The amenities they have were all nice. I would probably recommend them even though they're not what I want for my mother. They also invited us there for a meal.

We visited Brookdale Brandon. The salesperson was great, and met with me after hours, since it was harder for me to come during the day and followed up through emails. The rooms were small and the price was high, but they're the lowest among the ones I've inquired. They seemed to have a lot of get-togethers, gatherings, and parties. They have a lot to offer for the residents, and they celebrate holidays. The food smelled good, and for the price, it was the best for us.

When I took a tour at Brookdale Brandon it really smelled very strong of urine in one of the halls. It turned me off. However, everything seemed nice and the people seemed happy. We only talked to one lady that showed me the rooms and she was fine.

I didn’t like Brookdale. There weren’t very many people around, and it was dark and closed off. The room was nice, but it was more like a hotel. I met one staff member who was nice, but she did not really describe things in great detail.

We found everything at Brookdale Brandon to be nice and clean. It smells good, and the food tastes very good. The staff is very helpful. If you have anything that needs to be fixed in the apartment, they come up and take care of it. They have a lot of activities going on.

I did not like Brookdale Brandon for my mother. It was dark, and there was not enough seating for the residents in the main seating area. The staff was friendly, but not very professional. It seemed kind of disorganized when I walked in. However, the rooms seemed like a good value because the rooms were big and they have a mini kitchen. They were like little efficiencies. The price of the rooms was good, but again, the main areas where the residents would be hanging out were dark, gloomy and unwelcoming.

Emeritus at Brandon (Brookdale Brandon) looked very nice. The staff there seemed very friendly. You could dine and eat in the community dining room at your own time. They could either come down or not come down, and there was a menu that you could order from. I know they did have programs; they had a whole schedule of calendar of events.

My brother-in-law was at Emeritus at Brandon. Our experience was fine. They have a very pleasant environment. They have a caring staff. Their place was clean and attractive. Their main concession is to try to make their residents comfortable, but there is limited assistance for them. They need to be mobile in order for them to be in this place. My brother-in-law can no longer be there because he is no longer mobile. He is confined to a wheelchair, and he needs more care than they can provide. Their rooms were small but adequate. The food was fine. It was well-done -- e.g., three-course meal including dessert. They also have soup/salad, main course, dessert, all the coffee you want, and softdrinks. They have a pool room, and they have cards for activities.

I visited Brookdale in Brandon. She was fine, and she answered all of my questions. She gave me a tour of the place, and there is nothing to complain about. The rooms were nice and great. The one that she showed me is good and nice. She showed me the model, so I didn't really go to the one my dad will stay in. As for activities, there is a calendar, and she did show me. The sanitation is good, and it is clean. I like the fact that the hallways are wide. There are different places to hang out and different activities. There isn't just one thing to do. It is nice, and it is the closest to me.

The staff at Emeritus at Brandon was friendly. Their rooms were nice and their dining room is OK. I saw that the residents were old and I noticed that they don’t do much too. When I was there, I didn’t see any activities going on.

Emeritus has nurses and 24/7 nursing care. They have home doctors that would come in once a week. It has really worked out well for my parents. They have a studio apartment, and they're kept very clean. The staff is very friendly. They come in, they do their laundry, and take care of everything. They have 3 meals a day in a very classy dining room. We've gone down to eat there, and the food was very good. It also has the facilities where there's a rehab center next to it and memory care. The facility itself is kept up very well. I like the healthcare that they have. They also take them out on lunch trips to different restaurants in the immediate area, or they take them to WalMart. They've got two vans there that they use to take them out to get things. They have a little barbershop, a beauty salon, and someone comes in to take care and clean out the hearing aids. My parents weren't too pleased to start out. They're both 93 years old, and they're from Pennsylvania. But after they’ve been there, and they've been there for about 3 months now, they're really getting established in the place and are starting to understand this is what they need. I certainly would recommend Emeritus to others. I wouldn't put my parents anywhere else.

I like Emeritus a lot. The room was small; it didn't have a kitchen, but I like it. I like the people there. They have come to visit me twice now at my home. I really like the guy who runs the place, but I just don't have the money to move. It is clean. That's where I would go if I had the money, but I don't. They have some activities. The dining space was very nice. They had a nice outdoor space for people. It was just a nice place. The residents were all nice.

Emeritus was very nice, clean, and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a lot of information. They were a couple of people there in the living room, and they looked kind of bored, staring at the wall. However, I could have been there in between things and at that time, they weren't doing anything other than just maybe taking a break.

I was impressed with Emeritus at Brandon. The rooms were nice. The staff seemed to be nice. The person who took me around was very nice. She tried to help me find a location I felt comfortable with for my mother. I thought that was wonderful. She was not just selling Emeritus, but she was concerned about my mom's well-being. I would absolutely recommend this place. I was impressed with it. In fact, it was one of my main choices.

I don't think you could top Emeritus at Brandon. I loved it! It's great! The personnel were outstanding. Their attitude and exuberant that you came to their place was great and they had devoted quite a bit of time that day when I visited and we had lunch. They had everything you could possibly think of including an outstanding cook, chef and kitchen staff. I was encouraged to stay as long as I wanted. They had so many activities that no one could do them all. And they were updating things to keep up with the trends in our society. They were putting more activities around technology. I would recommend it to everybody.

My parents have been living in Emeritus. We chose this because of the location, the reception that I received when I toured the place, the people and the cleanliness. I ate a meal there and the food was good. They have lots of activities and one of my parents participate more than the other.

I found the staff at Emeritus very friendly. I really like the administration. The person that was helping me was very nice and very organized, but what really sold us on it was they had a suite that would accommodate my father. We had put a down payment, but we were not able to use it because my father died. They refunded the amount and they were very good about that and very caring. They even sent a plant to my dad's funeral. I liked the food there.

I'm on Social Security and for me, Emeritus at Brandon is fairly expensive for an assisted living provider. However, the place was nice and very impressive. The staff were fine and very courteous.

The staff is very kind and caring. They are willing to spend time not just on residents' daily physical needs such as bathing and nutrition, but they also spend enough time to show that they care about a resident's emotional well-being. The facility itself is very well kept, and its restaurant-style dining hall serves up food that's good enough that I don't mind eating there. Because my mother has been a resident for awhile, I have had a chance to talk to and interact with many other residents' families. With the few exceptions of people who are just nitpickers or overly demanding, I would say that the vast majority of residents' families are happy with the staff and its treatment of residents. I believe that the amenities are about typical for such a facility, and the residents that I meet seem engaged and happy. Likewise, my mother has not had a complaint during her time at Emeritus. Would I put her there again if I had to make the decision over again? Absolutely.

Emeritus is a really nice facility, but it's out of our price range. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They actually called me to try and find out if they could meet our needs, so I was very pleased with the staff. Had it been more affordable, it could have been more than an option. So I think they have to consider that a little bit more.

My latest experience with Emeritus assisted living was above average. While I feel some of the nurses and assistants could have been more attentive to my grandmother, I understand the importance of treating each patient equally to maintain general happiness. While I feel the staff could spend more time with her, the time spent has proven to be extremely valuable. After an extended stay in a rehabilitation facility as a result of a severe stroke, my grandmother was in dire need of someone to confide in. Although family is able to spend a great deal of time with her, the lapse between each visit was difficult at first. While the staff time is understandably limited she has been able to bond with a handful of nurses who are able to keep her emotionally stable during our periods of absence. In addition to the staff, the amenities are average yet keep the residents relatively active. The facilities are immaculate and have given no reason to be concerned.
