I'm a resident of Lakeview Senior Living. My room is wonderful. I've got a nice corner room on the second floor, and I got a balcony. I can cook my own food, which is a requirement for me. I eat a lot of non-fat things, and you don't find that too much in a community environment. The people here are very polite. I clean my own room and I do all my own stuff, but they do check on me regularly to say hi. They have activities. The problem with this senior community is that there are so many people who are hard of hearing, so when you have an activity, the volume is so loud that you can't have a conversation. The only thing I miss is having a conversation with other people, but at least they have live music once a week and they have a happy hour. So there's a feeling of community, there just isn't a lot of conversation. They also have a movie theater in the building, so people do go to the movies. The volume is so loud, I can't go because I would go deaf. I'm a health addict, so I work out twice. They have a nice workout room. They've got reclining bikes, and they have exercise classes with weights, so that is wonderful. I go down and use their exercise equipment every day. The important thing for me was not having to walk to a gym. I will probably end up doing that at some point. It's a wonderful place and the people seem happy. I would recommend it. The people are friendly. They don't overwhelm you with checking on you all the time. It's been good and it's very clean, which is wonderful. The staff are wonderful. I feel very comfortable and safe. They have happy hour on Fridays, and they serve some hors d'oeuvre and so I do take part in that. The food is very fresh. I can control the heat in my bedroom separately from the heat in my living room, which is nice, so my bedroom is not hot when I go to bed and outside. They have a nice big patio so that you can sit on the patio any time of the day you want. They got cushions out there and everything. They got pets in the facility. They have a lot of therapy, like psychological therapy aspects. The lighting is nice, there's lots of windows, and everybody has a balcony or patio, so it's nice. For all the other people, there are lots of activities. They encourage people to get up. They have music and dancing on Fridays. They have lots of classes. They do exercise classes but not at my level, but they are nice exercise classes for people who are sitting a lot. I appreciate everything they've done. It's the second time I've been here because I was happy the first time as well.

My mother turned 100 years old here, And the staff threw her the best surprise birthday party ever!!! I looked very hard to find the right place for my mom and found it at Lakeview Senior Living. The Apts are very nice and facilities are well maintained. I can't say enough good about the staff. And the cost was way below other senior homes in comparison. If your looking for a love one or yourself I highly recommend Lakeview for all senior ages.

My dad is happy at Lakeview Senior Living and he's doing well. He says that the food is really good. He's in independent living, but they provide the meals. The staff members are all very nice, and friendly, and helpful. They have a little movie theater, they have craft nights, they have card games that he likes to play, they do outings, and they have exercise groups. They have a lot of activities actually. In terms of the food, they make everything from scratch, and everything is really good. It's very clean, well-kept, and it's very nice in there. They went above and beyond to help him find something very affordable. And for what he pays, for all the food and everything, it's a fantastic price.

I highly recommend Lakeview Senior Living. My dad lived there for about six years and really enjoyed his time there. Lakeview is a vibrant community with interesting residents. The building - including all of the common areas - is very nice and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and caring - from the front desk to the dining room to housekeeping. Renee and Kelly are outstanding and very caring leaders of the community. The activities are excellent (the program is led by Karen who does a great job). Dad always enjoyed the exercise classes (there is a first rate work out facility on site) as well as the many and varied word games (like crossword puzzle, marvelous minds and humongous words). There are two active book clubs as well as lots of different outings and special events (like Father’s Day for example). The dining staff does a good job with creating a varied menu and tasty meals (and special events like Mother’s Day brunch). All of these things really enriched Dad’s life and we enjoyed participating in them with him as well. Thanks to all at Lakeview for the great work you do. We so enjoyed being part of the community.

Lakeview Senior Living is very nice, newer, and is a beautiful setting. The price is reflective of that. There's no inside parking and they charge for meals for relations and guests. I couldn't justify the additional money that they wanted in order to live in a more elegant facility. It very nice though and the people were very nice. The only deterrent in my book was the price.

Choosing Lakeview Senior Living was the best choice we could have made! My mother thrived there! The staff are amazing. They are truly friendly, helpful, responsive, kind, and interested in the lives and families of their residents. They supported us in every way they could. We knew them all on a first name basis - the same staff over 2+ years we were there. Mom made several friends while there. The food was very good - as well as the meal service set up/flexibility, the activities, and amenities, It was always clean, refreshed, and nicely appointed. There was a wonderful energy and creativity of the staff. They also seemed to really enjoy their work and the residents. They were there for us while mom was doing well, when she needed extra help, and then finally when she needed Palliative and Hospice care. They were there for my mom and us. I do not hesitate to give them the highest recommendation!

I teach a class called "Uniquely You" once a month at Lakeview. As someone who teaches and speaks a lot, this is one of my favorite groups- lively, informative, wise, and fun. Lisa Jensen, the "director of fun" is a blast and a hoot to work with.

My mother moved to Lakeview in September 2015 after living in her same home for 61 years. While it was hard getting her to downsize from a four bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment, my mother is loving her new apartment, her new friends, and her new freedom. Thank you Lakeview for helping my mom transition so quickly. My mom didn't know anyone living at Lakeview, but the staff and residents are welcoming. If you are looking for a place for your parent(s), make an appointment to see an apartment at Lakeview. Well worth your time and there is no hard sale pitch so don't worry about visiting.

"This Feels Like Home" is one of Lakeview Senior Living Center's advertising slogans...and it is accurate! Living in Lakeview some 3 years has been a real plus for Mother. The facility is large enough to provide the expected quality meals, wide variety of activities and accessible transportation, but small enough that staff has a high degree of familiarity with each resident. While an independent living facility, there are additional personal care services that can be arranged which might keep a Lakeview resident in this facility longer and not require transfer to one offering assisted living - good for the resident not to readjust again.

My mom has been living at Lakeview since June 2015 and her overall wellbeing has improved greatly. She is always doing something and visiting with other residents. They have been very inviting and friendly, making the transition a lot easier. Eating good, nutritious meals seems to have made a big improvement in her health and mental status as well. Joan

The staff seemed to be very pleasant and very accommodating at Lakeview Senior Living. They had large apartments. They had a kitchen area, a living room area, and a bedroom area. They had very nice layouts. The facility was kept in pretty good shape as well.

The staff was wonderful, and the food was excellent. The apartments were small, more like efficiency style apartments. They had off campus activities and game nights, and they had a theater. I actually preferred Lakeview better than the one my mother is living in.

Lakeview Senior Living was the nicest at the right price. Everything about it is what we were looking for. We ate a meal there, the staff was very nice, and the food was really good, so that was the choice for me. My parents are going into a 1-bedroom apartment, and it’s plenty of room for them. The rooms are very nice, very clean, airy, and have lots of windows. They have movies every night. They have entertainment twice a week and all kinds of card games, physical therapy, and a workout room -- just about everything they might need.

We choose Lakeview Senior Living for my dad because he wants to go there. It is fairly new. It is very bright and cheery. They are clean. They have studio apartments, but they have more, there is even a two-bedroom, I believe. The staff is excellent.

We toured at Lakeview, and we loved it. We were very impressed with the whole facility during our visit. We really very much liked it, but they do not have assisted living. The rooms were beautiful, I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The food was wonderful like a triple A restaurant and served beautifully. We liked the dining room very much. There’s a gym, library, salon, movie theater, and jigsaw puzzle room. The rooms have balcony, and the place is secured. They drive you to medical appointments or to church.

My father lived here for a couple of years. He had a very nice apartment with a great view. He was happy here. There are many activities and chances to socialize. The food is great and the staff is wonderful and caring. This is a very well run facility.

I have lived at Lakeview Senior Living for quite a while now. It just interested me. Everything is pretty good here. The staff is very good. They have lots of stuff. They have a director of fun, and she tries really hard to keep us busy all the time. She does a good job. They treat you like a human. I take part in what I feel like and I let the rest go. You can play hard. You could have happy hour. You could just live normally here. I appreciate that.

We're in an apartment. We have two bedrooms, a laundry room, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Lakeview has all kinds of activities, like trips, card games, and they take people to places. The food is excellent. They have waiters and waitresses. They have a selection of food to eat, and the food is good. But I miss the bathtub here. They just have showers and no bathtub, which I think is a safety thing. Of course, we're older now, too. Here, we have safety things that we can wear around our necks. If people are alone and might fall and not be able to get up, they just press a button and they're connected to the front desk right away. Somebody comes up from the front desk. If you have fallen, they will not pick you up; they send for an ambulance. That's another safety feature. They could be sued if they drop you and you get worse. They don't want you to get up if you can't.

We decided on Lakeview Senior Living, but we are just not there yet. We chose this facility because it was the right fit for what we need. It provided a couple of meals in a day and that is what we wanted. They also provide transportation if you need it. We also like that this facility is fairly new. I saw their apartment and they are fine; we like it. With the activities, I know they have all kinds of games, outings, movies, and they even have meals out if you want to go. It almost has everything me and my husband needed.
