I've started moving to Sky Pointe Retirement Community. It's beautiful and relaxing, the people are very friendly, they're welcoming and the food is good. It's a beautiful 2-year-old building, there's a water fountain near the entrance when you walk in which is relaxing. The dining room is beautiful, it's big and open, and there are high school and college kids that set the tables. There are 2 entrees for lunch and dinner, there's a salad bar, and there are also coffee and ice cream bars. It's just a beautiful place. They have all kinds of games and things, they have pinochle, bridge, hand and foot, rummy cube, canasta, bowling, and the other night we had a live symphony concert. They just keep you busy all day long. There's an exercise room with instructors. I just can't say enough nice things about it, it's a beautiful place and everybody is happy there. It's the best there is for the price.

Sky Pointe Retirement Community was the one community that stood out to me. The tour was great. It looked like a beautiful facility. Great staff. Very nice apartments. I think we saw a gym, a library, and a little kind of convenience store, and those were nice to have onsite. The staff who toured us was fantastic. She sat down and talked to me for a while. She was excellent. I observed their activities. There was a group of ladies, and they were playing some sort of a game together.

Sky Pointe Retirement Community was gorgeous. They had a theater where they showed movies with nice, comfortable seats. They had a big fountain when you walked into the lobby. It was like a resort. The staff was friendly, and chatty, showed us everything, and answered all the questions. They had a library and a beauty salon. The upkeep was perfect.

Sky Pointe Retirement Community facility is beautiful. My only problem is that first of all, it is too expensive and out of my expense range. I decided to go ahead and look at it anyway. It is a beautiful facility, but they do not have any balconys. They have a very limited number of them. The apartments that I looked at, none of them have any patio or balcony, and I have to be able to go outside. So I consider that a detriment. The staff member that assisted me was very nice. She followed up twice and called me back. I like their use of interior space. They have an area called Main Street with a bunch of little shops and places like the library and the mail room. It is set up like a little village. It is very cute and very pleasant. The cleanliness is very nice.

My mom is at Sky Pointe. It's excellent. The cost is one thing I like about it. It's a brand-new facility so the finishes are nice, the food is good, and the staff is very caring. She likes the food. The facilities are excellent. They have all kinds of activities like bingo and stretching. There is always something going on. The value for the money is excellent. Her room is a two-bedroom, two-bath, and it's very nicely done.
