I toured Lakewood Reserve. It's a standard-type facility. They have security there and secured rooms. They have a good place for them to eat and they have some different types of activities to keep people busy. They have 24/7 nursing care. Everything I saw indicated that it was very clean. As far as the atmosphere, it seemed like it was a good place. There were people in the activity room and in some other areas, and everybody seemed satisfied with what they were doing. Kim showed me around. She's knowledgeable about it and understands what people need and when they're looking for things. Everything she was telling me was upfront and she showed me good things.

I would not recommend lakewood reserve. The people there at Lakewood reserve do not do anything. Do not take care of the people that live there. I went to go visit my grandpa. I cannot even imagine what other people are going through there. I found my grandpa in bed, had no clothes on. Diaper looked as if it hadn't been changed in days, beads were coming out of the diaper. He had poop stuck on his back. Had achorrible raw rash. Lakewood reserve is so dirty. I just don't recommend anyone to live there. The people there have bruises from falling constantly obviously not being checked on. They don't answer when the people call for help. So just in general the people there aren't good caregivers, management sucks, The staff very rude .

Lakewood Reserve was a very nice facility. It was newly remodeled. I felt like it was too far from where I wanted my mom to be. I thought that the person who gave me the tour was great. She was knowledgeable. I liked that every day they would have, like a sample plate for every meal that they would make so that the residents could look at it and go, oh, yeah, I want the egg and the sausage, or I want the egg in the sausage in the toast. And they made like three different plates up. So you had three different variations of what that could look like. I liked the person who was taking the tour, although she was new, she knew people's names. She was like hey, Marcia. We were walking through and she was like oh, hey, Peggy, do you mind if we peek our head into your room? And we were able to look into what a furnished apartment looked like. And the person was affable to allow us to look into her place. They seemed to have a lot of activities. They had, like, this kind of, heightened service to serving people who were in the military and had a military wall. And the person who was in the front who welcomed us, she seemed to know everybody who was going in and out, and it seemed very welcoming and very comfortable. It had recently been renovated so a lot of the spaces were newly painted and newly decorated. And she's been great with follow-up and checking in to see how we were doing. They also looked to see if their facility could accept my mom's medication. And they also were willing to come and do an evaluation on my mom to see whether or not the facility would make sense for her.

I will not stop writing reviews till my voice is heard. I am so disappointed with this place because of a staff member in the memory care my grandmother had to die alone. She had no visitors for a freaking week because Covid. We were able to visit her the WHOLE time but were kicked out prior when visiting. Because of this staff member we couldn’t even get a proper goodbye. We couldn’t visit her in her final days. WE HAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO A COLD LIFELESS BODY. Nobody should ever freaking have that. I get things happen but if she was informed and would’ve even checked before RUDELY kicking my mother out. We could’ve at least been there the night before. We were wrongly denied and because of this woman’s wrong my poor grandmother was alone and couldn’t even get a simple last I love you from her own family . I will not stop my voice will be heard

The staff at Lakewood Reserve was pleasant, easy to deal with, informed, and supportive. The physical plant was quite acceptable. The place was clean. If I was a resident, I would find it very acceptable. I saw the library facilities. I believe I saw some of the residents playing table games. Other residents were amusing themselves by moving about the facility to see what activities were going on.

this facility leaves residents alone in rooms with no activity, runs out of and withholds required meds; only 2 staff for building of 100’s at night when baths are needed.

I liked the Lakewood Reserve. It was very nice. The only reason that I didn't choose them is because they are farther away from me. There was a lot of residents that were out visiting, playing cards, sitting in the cafeteria, and having a snack with family members. We talked to a couple of family members and the residents and they were all very happy. I really, really liked it. The staff during the tour was very, very good, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They offered a gym, a salon, a private dining room, and a courtyard. It's in a neighborhood and the view is kind of important for my mom. She likes to look outside, and there wasn't much of a view, but it's a very nice facility. I would definitely recommend them.

Lakewood Reserve was nicer than I expected. It didn't look like a facility as such. The food could have been a little bit better, but overall, the building and everything seemed nice. The staff was nice, cooperative, and knowledgeable. I was quite impressed with them and I had no issues with them at all. It was kept up, the grounds looked nice, and there was a nice walking area.

Everything was fine. However, my ex-husband has Alzheimer's and that place is for seniors who are active. Also, for my ex-husband, that big of a place is going be a little too much. Nevertheless, the place was enjoyable. I did like the way how the place looked for the people. It was a nice place. It seemed like the people there were very happy there. The rooms were fine; however, you have to supply the bed, the linens, their towels, etc.

This is an extremely large facility with a capacity of over two hundred residents. Though the size can be a little intimidating, the sheer number of amenities easily makes up for it, not to mention all the opportunities the residents have to make new acquaintances. During a visit here, I witnessed one of the residents playing a game of pool with his son. From what I gathered, they used to have a family pool table and the man taught his son to play pool there. A pool table at this facility is just a small way for a resident and his son to stay connected in a world where so much has changed for them. I like it that this facility makes it so easy for residents and their families to live happily.
