My friend was at Hilltop Reserve Senior Living. It's quite new. It's a beautiful place. She wouldn't go eat for the first week, so I didn't get a good sense of what she thought about the food. But the place, if you've been fortunate enough to have a very beautiful home that you live in yourself and find you have to go somewhere (and I'm thinking of me), this would probably be one of my top choices. I thought it was very well laid out, it was a very pleasant feeling, and it didn't feel like what they call an old folks' home. It was a retirement situation. I thought it was well-designed, I thought its bathrooms were better and larger than I'd seen in other places, and I thought storage for the clothing was better. The courtyard was wonderful for privacy, for people, or as a good area to walk around in and feel free. They had a beautiful swimming pool, and anyone who swam might appreciate that. It was a very well-designed facility, as far as I can say, from a point of view of someone who's done interior design work. I would recommend it to my peer group. My friend went into the memory care unit. It's new, fresh, contemporary, and well done.

We went to Hilltop Reserve. Their apartments were very nice, and they had some with somewhat of a mountain view. They had a lot of facilities with a lot of things for activities that you could join in. The hallways were nice, bright, and light. They had an underground garage. The apartments were pretty good. They were pretty small, but not as small as the ones in the other place. They had full kitchens and two- two-and-a-half baths. We wanted a two-bedroom place, and with the two of us, I think that's probably a little better than a one-bedroom. The staff were very good, very helpful and very friendly. For amenities, they had a beautiful pool. The library was just books that the people who lived there donated. It's fairly new, and it's a little less than a year old, so it's going to collect a lot more books. There were two main dining areas, and they were both very nice and easy to get to. They had several elevators around, which was good. They had more than one set of elevators. They had a kind of a unique layout. We're interested in independent living, but they also had assisted living and memory care. Memory care and assisted living was like a different building but built into the main building. It's got a big wall between it with a door into it for that whole section, so it's almost like a separate building. I thought that was very nice.
