Mom is at Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living and it's been an awesome experience. We were there with her for a week and the food was excellent. The meals were fabulous. The people that work there are also fabulous. We like it. It's very clean and well set up for everybody. Mom has a one-bedroom and there's a library and great walking areas for going outside. There's a park, too. It couldn't be better. They have exercises in the morning, music, and entertainment on Thursdays. It's got happy hour once a week. They have a bus that takes them out to a 15-mile radius distance, instead of a 5, like a lot of the other places. They also take them to baseball games and things like that. They are a great facility.

We toured Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living. I liked a lot of things about that community. They had long-term employees. It was very clean. It was very nice. They have activities. They have a group that would go and welcome new residents, so they weren't just sitting in their apartments. They wanted people out and engaged, and so I like that. The employees seemed very nice. All the ones we met had been there for at least five years. It was a beautiful setting. They had a library, and they had a walking path, it was very nice. We walked into the dining room, and it looked very nice. And they had different seating configurations. It looked like a restaurant. The building looked very clean. Of the places I looked at, this by far was the best. Residents seemed to be engaged.

I had an in-person tour of Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living. They offered their dining room services from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They didn't have a two-bedroom apartment available. The staff was great, very pleasant to work with, and patient with my parents. They had a library, an exercise room, a beauty salon, a rec room, and a pool.

Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living did not have that many amenities. As far as memory care goes, it would probably be for somebody that was a little bit more self-sufficient. The staff did an excellent job and was attentive. We came after lunch, so we got a little snack that they were having, and it was good. They have courtyard spaces.

My mom has been here for 8 months now. She is happy and settled in. Loves her apartment and is happy she made the move. She is close to us now so we can visit more and take her out. It is a smaller facility so she feels right at home and has easily learned her way around. I am happy if she is happy and so far it is good.

My dad lives at Harvard square, and I am happy with my decision. He is happy, he likes the daily exercise classes and the Executive Director listens, cares and is very responsive. Feels like a family here. The food is delicious, and they made my dad a birthday cake and made him feel special, good people here

My father has been a memory care resident for a couple months. The care the staff has exhibited to help him settle into his new home has been awesome. Everyone is kind and caring. Menus provide a wide variety, never the same old stuff, and plenty offered so I know he will not go hungry. I have had a few meals with him and they were very good. He has actually gained a bit of weight since moving in which is good. The common areas are always clean and the housekeeping services to clean the rooms has been top notch. Myself and siblings rest easy knowing he is being watched over 24/7 and safe when we cannot be there. We are very thankful to have found Harvard Square.

My dad has been in Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living for less than a month now. He is happy there, and he is doing well. They are friendly, very competent, and made it really easy for us to get my father to move in. He loves the staff and the food is good too. They have exercise classes. He plays cards. They play movies for them and other activities. It seems to be a really social place, and they really invite their people to be a part of the group activities. They have a personal car if you have a specific thing you'd like to do or they can take you on a bus as they offer activities outside the facility, which are good as well.

My father is in Harvard Square. We toured it a month ago. We moved him in just last week. They are very nice. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff has been awesome. His apartment has a bedroom, a kitchenette, a living room, and a study. It's quite big. There are one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studios. They have exercise classes, bingo, and a happy hour on Thursdays. They have a library, a huge courtyard with a big walking path behind the facility, a beauty shop, and a workout room. They also have physical therapists if they needed to do mobility. It's a very nice facility.

We have chosen Harvard Square for dad, but he hasn't moved in yet. The facility was really nice. The guy who helped us was extremely helpful. He gave us a really thorough tour. We ended up having some financial problems, and he was able to work out a really good deal with us as well. The rooms were really nice. We liked that the one-bedrooms have a full fridge. They had a lot of activities. We did a lot of virtual tours with the other places, but this was the only facility both virtual tour and in-person where we actually saw people kind of hanging out outside of the rooms (which was kinda nice). That gave us the sense that people weren't isolated. I tried the food, and it was really good. Everybody there was really nice. I'm actually vegan, and they actually had vegan options, which was kinda cool. That's really unusual at any type of place. They had homemade chickpea burgers, so I was really impressed.

I went to look at Harvard Square Retirement and Senior Living. The staff was very helpful. The main building is lovely like a resort hotel. It looks down over a park, and it is very, very nice. They're doing some renovation, so it shows its age in some places. They have a fitness room, a pool table, a dining room, a library, and a beauty salon. The staff knew what she was talking about, and she showed us around. They are undergoing some renovation construction.

My mother will be moving in at Harvard Square Retirement & Senior Living, and it looks wonderful. It doesn't look like a jail, and they don't treat it like a jail. The Harvard Square has lemonade socials and activities for my mom. They have a garden area for her. She loves gardening, and she loves getting together. I don't know how much she's able to do anymore, but she used to love it. Their menu is amazing, and the building is very clean. You bring your own furniture. They don't put you in a urine-stained bed. I'm sure they probably have beds, but they do give the option of bringing your own, and they allow you in the rooms. It's a locked unit, so you sign-in at the kiosks. Then someone walks you in, and you can go and visit in the social room or in the bedroom. Everybody was really pleasant. When you walk in, it's a great big lobby where you sign-in at the kiosk. It is set up as a huge lounge for the people in the apartments there. You can go down, and there's a fireplace. It's a nice big bay area, and you can socialize with other visitors as well as the tenants. They offer the opportunity for the patients to have a glass of wine if you bring it in. I think it's once a week or something like that (which I wouldn't know if everybody would appreciate that, but I know my mom would).

They have very confident personnel at Harvard Square, a very nice dining room, and good food. The room looks nice and normal. They have many activities. It was the right place for my friend. They have good-sized units in a decent location.

We found what we wanted and right where we wanted it at Harvard Square, so I’m giving it a try. I think I’m going to love it. They’re very adamant about fulfilling your needs. One of the things I like about it is the way they do their dining area. I’ve been in some of these with my in-laws two years ago, and I know they don’t all do it this way. Here, they have café tables, and if you don’t want to go down, they’ll bring your dinner to you, but they try to have you eat downstairs close to the food preparation. The food was excellent. They have a chef that cooks it, and he keeps it going every day. You get a menu of choices. My room is exactly what I wanted and never thought I would have the chance to get in in a facility like that. It’s everything I expected and more.

They were pretty good at responding to me. I looked at their menus, and they seemed to have good quality food. The apartments were not as fancy, but Harvard Square was a smaller facility, which I like. It's homier and wasn't as institutional. They had a lot of activities. They had a bus or van that took people all over for shopping and different events. I don't think they had a stove. I cook and I eat a very specific diet, so I would want to be able to cook my own food. I like that they had some individual décor in their units rather than the standard where they were all kind of the same.

Harvard Square is a close-knit community. I visited this facility for my parents. Their independent and assisted living units are all under one facility but they're in different floors. They also have very clean and nice-sized living quarters. In terms of staff, they have a nurse available from 6 am to 6 pm and they also have a doctor on-call. They offer a lot of activities that would encourage interactions amongst their residents, which is nice. They have a very good system wherein if residents were to go anywhere, they would have to sign them out where they are going, how they're getting there, and then, they would sign them back in when they come back. They have late afternoon system wherein they make sure their residents are in their rooms, make sure they haven't fallen, and make sure they're okay.

Harvard Square has a feeling of home. The environment, staff and the residents were all what we're looking for. I've been living here with my wife. I definitely would recommend this place to others.
