My sister-in-law is living in Bella Vita Senior Living and she fell in love with it. It's an excellent and fantastic facility. The best part about it is the people in the lobby. They don't just sit there waiting to die, but they're busy and active. It was wonderful and financially reasonable. They have a wonderful and beautiful kitchen, and the staff is wonderful. Patrick is sensational and the girl at the desk is a hoot and makes you feel like it's the best day in the world. My sister-in-law's apartment is wonderful. They have a beautiful waiting room and two vehicles that will take residents anywhere they want to go. They also have somebody who comes in every week to clean, which is a real luxury too.

I will be moving into Bella Vita Senior Living. I like the location. It's near transportation and has a shopping center around. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The tour was very nice and professional. The facility looks like it's well-maintained. The apartments are very roomy. I have a one-bedroom, and it's a lot of room. You could have somebody else with you, and there are no extra charges for that. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and cordial.

I toured Bella Vita and that was one where the parking wasn't that great. When we went into the unit they had. The cabinets in the kitchen area are dark wood or stained, and then all the appliances were black. It made it feel like a dungeon and not a place to live. It was so dark. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained everything. The room was OK. The ones that we looked at didn't have a patio or balcony; but on one of the floors, they did have an outside area where you could go. You don't have the freedom of just walking out the door right in your space for a few minutes. We shut down as soon as we saw the black appliances and the dark cabinets. Even their walking area was not the greatest because they're right on a busy street or close to a busy street. Just north of the building for the residents is like a little mini mall with Target and a nest of big stores. They had a nice grass area around the building by the parking lot. They have benches or seats under several of the trees, so that an individual could do a little bit of a walk and chill out. That was about it.

Bella Vita is a well maintained residence with staff that truly care about the tenants. The apartment size is generous and includes a full kitchen while also including cable, utilities, maintenance, and light housekeeping in the rental costs. This has been very helpful for my mom in maintaining her independence while having a secure, warm environment to call home. Their pet friendly policies and great location to restaurants and shopping is an added bonus!

I chose Bella Vita because it has a kitchen where I can cook, and I like it. We play bingo and cards, watch movies, and walk to the shopping mall. They have an exercise room and a community room where we have a meeting or get together. The staff is very friendly. It's a really nice place.

The apartments at Bella Vita Senior Living are very nice and very well decorated. We’re in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. The staff is very professional and very friendly. They have a good variety of activities for the residents. They do not have a dining room here. The parking isn’t quite as convenient as I would like, but other than that, everything is fine.

I began my search for a location in Denver almost a year ago after the passing of my husband. At that time and still today I desired an independent living apartment community where I was taking care of myself totally without assistance or meal plan. That later part, in the Denver metropolitan area is a caveat that is harder to find that I had realized. Most independent communities may have also in their community - assisted living, long-term care and memory care facilities for stroke and Alzheimer's patients. So also include short-term rehab before being able to return to homes to live without assistance of any kind following rehabilitation for medical illness, surgery or broken bone. Bella Vita came to my attention late in my search. It was a community that my son was able to endorse - both the community itself and the surrounding neighborhood. What he liked most was the availability of stores and services in such close proximity to Bella Vita - from grocery stores, big-box stores such as Target and Costco plus the presence of stores such as Kohl's, Ross, TJMaxx, Homegoods as well as the restuarants, small eateries, and fast-food places. Everything can be found by drawing a circle and finding out what is inside the circle. With Google Maps I could find things too like doctors and hospitals nearby - churches of my denomination and other items of interest in my life from my days in another city. Caring.com I believe was the entity that put Bella Vita on my radar screen. I am very happy with my choice.

Bella Vita was OK. The place was nice enough, and I think they have some activities. The only drawback was that they don’t have anything available to eat.

Brian21, Thank you for taking the time to visit Bella Vita and write a review of your experience. I am pleased to hear that you were able to see the well appointed community and apartments. Also, as an active 55+ independent living community, we do have a an extensive calendar of events that range from various games to outings around the metro Denver area. Regarding your concerns about prepared meals onsite, while we do not have a restaurant, each apartment has a well equipped kitchen for residents to make their own meals. We do offer a bistro area where coffee, tea, and other beverages can be enjoyed among the company of other residents. We hope you consider Bella Vita an option to call home and look forward to exploring things further with you. If you have questions or additional concerns, please contact me in the office. Respectfully, Kayleen Gibson

Everybody at Bella Vita was good and professional. The rooms were small. Security was good, but they had one spot which needed some kind of security where somebody could come in from the outside of the building and use the side stairs, which at the time they didn't have it locked. The staff said that they were working on that and they were getting a gate to lock it. The only thing that they could improve on would be more people to show you the tour because the girl at the desk was the one who assisted me on the tour and if somebody else were to come, they would have to wait until that tour is over. However, all the staff that I encountered was really friendly, and that made Bella Vita more inviting.

Raymond14, thank you for taking the time to write a review about our community and your experience. I am pleased to hear you experienced the welcoming environment Bella Vita is known for. I would like to address your two concerns. First, the outside security gate is being worked on and should be installed within a matter of months. The challenge has been the lack of time contractors can give to this small of a project. While we do see it as a priority to ensure the safety of the residents, the reality is we have never encountered any situations placing someone in harms-way because of this. Regarding your concern about staffing, Bella Vita is a small community and staffed accordingly. We encourage people to make appointments to tour so we can give them undivided attention while providing proper coverage at the Concierge desk. Of course, we welcome people at any time and if they drop by without an appointment we have always accommodated them. Yes, sometimes this may mean waiting a few minutes. However, if someone cannot wait we have found people are willing to schedule a time to come back that is convenient for both. We hope you consider Bella Vita an option to call home and look forward to exploring things further with you. If you have questions or additional concerns, please contact me in the office. Respectfully, Kayleen Gibson

My sister told me about Bella Vita. I chose this facility for my father, and he moved there two months ago. The community is very good, and the staff is very helpful. It’s a new community and a very beautiful place, and it’s very neat and very tidy. They offer cleaning services every other week, and they have lots of events. You have to be 55 to live there.
