So far, everything seems to be working fine here at Brookdale Tamarac Square. We do quite a few excursions, shopping, and movies. They serve lunch and dinner daily. We have on-site nurses, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They make me feel very welcome.

I had an issue with laundry at Brookdale Tamarac Square. You have to wash your clothes someplace other than your apartment. The parking is not covered and I had a frustrating time getting into the place because there weren't instructions. So, I didn't like the place overall, but I liked the manager. The lady, Nicole, was fine, but it's not what I want. It's old and the hallways are three feet wide. I don't like that.

I am moving into Brookdale Tamarac Square. I love it. All the people are very friendly, very informative, and very helpful. I'd recommend it to anybody. I think they're a great place. They take care of their residents. The food is pretty good. They have a library and a gym.

I liked Brookdale Tamarac Square. It's a little higher than my price range, but not undoable. It was very impressive. I liked the facilities. The apartments were very nice. The layout was great. The person I had the tour with was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I was impressed overall totally with that place. I only met one person, the tour guide, but she was very good. I didn't see anything that I didn't like. They've got everything there. They've got a library, a gym, a movie room, they do outings, they go to different restaurants, they have classes, and they have bingo twice a week. They've got buses, and they go shopping and to the casinos. They have quite a bit of stuff.

We went to Brookdale Tamarac Square. We saw the whole place. It was fine, but needs to be updated. It's a former apartment house that wasn't a senior place initially, and they're in the process of updating that kind of thing. But, it just wasn't for us. We just didn't care for it that much. They have appliances. All the apartments at that particular one are the same, all the two-bedrooms have the same floor plan. They're pretty small. They have full-size refrigerators and a stove. The person that led us on the tour was a young lady, very nice, and very good with her information.

I had been to Brookdale Tamarac Square several times and I had eaten there several times. I had gone to other communities and figured this is the best. There were good meals at both times I visited. They have great apartments and great facilities. The marketing person, Katie, was very professional and very friendly. The size of their one-bedroom apartments is very nice and very roomy. I haven't used any of the amenities there, but we did look at them. They have a lot of programs going on. I'm sure it will be a good community to be a part of. The food experience was pretty good. It's much better than having food brought to you in a room. The people at the table were very nice, the service was good, and the food was good. The facility is very nice. It is very dated. It's not old; it's quite modern. They just redid it. There are numerous activities. I can't remember them all, but I was impressed with them.

I took a tour of Brookdale Tamarac Square for my parents, and it was very nice. The people were very good, and friendly. They showed us everything. We even saw a couple of residents going to their beauty shop. They were just so happy to live there, so we saw a couple of people that were very satisfied with being there.

I like the large dining area and that was pretty much all that I liked about Brookdale Tamarac Square. The staff during the tour was very friendly, resourceful, and gave me some other information that helped. They had a patio, a beauty salon, laundry facilities, and a little storage area.

We toured Brookdale Tamarac Square. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They had activities like bingo. The rooms were nice and decent sized. The staff at the hair salon was nice. They had a library. The dining area wasn't very big and they had a nice bar, which wasn't very big either.

Brookdale was really nice, but they're for seniors 63 and above. It had an open area where people were sitting down, and there were staff, and some nursing people assisting them. It looked like the people there were in good hands. There was an area where you can eat, but it was not a dining room. The woman at the desk was very nice.

Brookdale Tamarac Square was cleaner, nicer, and more updated than other places. The staff was very nice, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn't like about it was each one of their units had a step in it.

I am in Brookdale Tamarac Square. It is an older building that's not designed for seniors because they have a step in all of the apartments, which becomes a problem when they have walkers. The bathroom doors are not wide enough to accommodate walkers. It does not bother me now because I don't have one, but it is a problem for some people here. The personnel are wonderful. The activities are great. I don't care for some of the food. They have a good cook, but they don't vary it enough for me and don't season the food. However, the people are very nice and helpful.

I have moved into Brookdale Tamarac Square. I love it. It's very clean. The people are friendly. The food is wonderful. One thing that really appeals to me is that I go out my door and right across from the elevator, there is a trash chute. You just take your trash there and put it down the chute and it goes to wherever it goes, so that's convenient. They have free housekeeping and several choices of food. The dining room has tablecloths and napkins. They have lots of events here. When I go get my mail, you just go down to the mailroom and get it; you don't have to go out in the weather. Brookdale is reasonably priced. We each get one of these pendants to wear, and if we have a problem, we just push this button, which it is all free. It is more expensive than where I lived, but it has so much to offer.

I thought Brookdale Tamarac Square was beautiful and very clean. It looked like it would be a great place for my mother-in-law to live in or even myself.

Right now, I'm included in their waiting list. I think it was an older facility but I like everything about it. Firstly, it was convenient in terms of location to my daughter's home. Secondly, I like the friendliness of the people there. With regards to staff, the person who showed us around this facility was knowledgeable. I saw an apartment there and it's size was good. It was well situated. The price was good for my budget.

My mom is currently staying here. She has only moved in last week but so far she is very happy there. She likes this facility a lot. We chose this facility for her firstly because of the layout of the rooms. It is very functional and a little bit bigger. There is no wasted space. There are a lot of nice wall space for furniture and pictures. They're generally nice rooms. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment with nice closet, full kitchen and full-size appliances. Secondly, it was because of the overall feel for the people and the good quality of care they were giving to their residents that this facility was decided upon. It is not a medical care facility, it is just senior living, but the people are very nice, helpful, friendly and very caring. In terms of the activities there, there is an activity calendar and it seems that they have activities everyday and every weekend. They have a lot of board games, sign-ups about trips and exercise classes, etc. With regards to food, I didn't get a chance to eat there but the menus look great. They are serving like upscale steak, fish, salmon, and chicken. Also the dining room looks nice, well-staffed and well set-up.

The staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. I really liked the living arrangements. They had a lot of activities like bingo, movie night and even outside activities. They went to mountains or ate dinner outside the facility. Even if it was an independent living facility, they served food and it was very good. However, I did not like that there was no washer and dryer in the room, but they had a very nice laundry room not too far from the apartments.

The community looked very nice, it was very beautiful, and it seemed a very secure place. It's a big building and it's like living in a hotel. I didn't get to meet a lot of the staff, but those that I did meet were all very nice and friendly. I had lunch there and the food was okay. But I can't afford it and I don't want to go in yet.
