My father has been staying at Santa Fe Home Care (Bright Days Home) for two years. I'm not happy, but I don't have a choice right now. Some of the staff needs training. My dad has been getting sores off and on. His leg is contracted because they don't bother to change positions like they're supposed to. They have people who don't understand English. Most of the rooms are shared and most of the time the residents are just watching television. The pricing just went up $300. It should be gradual, but we went from $2,300 to $2,600 now. I wasn't notified of the jump until I made the phone call.
