My stay at Villa Pacifica Apartments has been mostly pleasant. The manager was a different manager than when I applied. And, this manager is not very responsive to my needs. I just really wish we had the other manager back. And the maintenance person is fairly good. Parking is excellent. It's a secure parking with enclosed gates and I really appreciate being able to keep my car out of the sun and off the street compared to other places I've lived. And it's a very good location, very good walking to restaurants and shops. I've put my name in for the top floors, so I could get away from the noise that comes from above. I've complained about that, and that's where my manager has not been responsive at all. For some reason, the tenant above makes a lot of noise on their floor, which is my ceiling. That's quite annoying. The doors are spring-loaded, so they slam easily. And that's another complaint I have. They're pretty good with a few activities, but not very many.

My wife and I have been in Villa Pacifica for six years now. It costs $1,200 plus utility, so it is almost $1,300 a month. It is a very nice place. They take good care of it. Every floor has washers and dryers. We have self-parking. It's just a little expensive. When we first came here, it was about $1,000. My only argument with the place is that it is supposed to be a senior place and it is assisted type thing. There are 64 apartments in this area and since they have gone up so much in price, in the last year half of them had moved out. The manager here is great. She tries her best to run the place. But the people who own the place just don't care and they keep up with the prices of the neighborhood and other buildings here, but this is the only senior place in this area.
