My father moved into WestHaven Assisted Living. The staff is just wonderful, and they adore him. He is in the memory care section, but they also have other levels like independent living. He has a private room. It's a good size, but it's a private pay facility. The meals seemed nice, and he seemed to like them all. The dining area is open, the residents aren't crowded, and it seemed spacious. They have church services on Sunday, they do crafts, cooking, and they have music. They have a monthly newsletter that they put out with other things that they plan for the month in case family members want to come in and participate. The facilities are very nice, very clean, and I liked the way they're set up.

WestHaven Assisted Living was a nice, well-laid-out place. What I liked about the place was that it was clean and spacious. I felt that it was a comfortable place because it was not crowded. They had small rooms which provided privacy for their resident. The staff was very nice and friendly. I was able to eat there, and it was good.

My father-in-law has been a resident for over a year at Westhaven. The facility is very clean, and the care is excellent. He is well cared for and seems to be very happy with his surroundings. It is a safe, caring environment.

I feel like my mom has received very good care there. It is a new facility and their desire is to help the residents feel at home. Mom adjusted very quickly. She enjoys playing "games" with her new friends, and when away for visits with family, she is soon anxious to go back "home" again.
