My wife was at Marin Terrace. It was nice. There was a lot of room for them to walk. They had a long hallway where people could walk up and down. They served good meals. The staff was helpful and caring. They had quite a few activities. They had some guy come in and sing songs with them. For my wife, they used to have a box full of material, and she would pull the strings out of the material to keep her occupied, but later I found that they kept her doped up. She couldn't stay awake when I came to visit her, so I didn't like that. Our overall experience was OK, and then all the staff moved out and then it went downhill.

My granny stayed at Marin Terrace for a few weeks while she was dying on hospice. From the minute we walked through the door, we were greeted with kindness and care. Darnell is a total character and runs the place well. The staff have the most wonderful, loving hearts and treat the residents like family. I'd never been in an assisted living facility before and to be honest, it made me really sad at first to know that there were these older people that their families weren't carrying for. I guess not every family is able to care for their elders (we needed around the clock care for my granny while we was dying, but were there a lot). But what I noticed was the love and care the staff provide was really beautiful. Marin Terrace isn't fancy, but it's warm and safe and staffed by beautiful people. Thank you wonderful workers of Marin Terrace from all of Ewell's family.

My mom hasn't been at Marin Terrace that long. The atmosphere is pretty nice and it looks appealing. I like their executive director, who is very outgoing and personable. They have a nurse on staff; I'm also pretty impressed with him. The other staff members that I met seem to be very nice. They like my mom a lot. I like the rooms. My mom has a pretty big room. It has a sliding glass door and one whole wall is glass, which is beautiful to look outside. There are no activities going on now because of social distancing. They have a nice living room with a couple of big TVs, and they have a nice terrace in the back that overlooks a stream.

I like Marin Terrace; in fact, it’s the main one I am considering. Everybody seemed nice, and the rooms were big and spacious. The semi-private has plenty of room and really looks good. The dining room was setup very nicely, and I remember seeing the menu -- looks good. Somebody plays the piano. It’s got somebody in the front where the door is. It seemed pretty a safe place. The only thing drawback was two rooms share a bathroom, but it was clean, and I liked it.

Marin Terrace has the most courteous staff and secure place. They gave me the peace of mind that my Dad is in good hands and he is.
