My brother moved into Stanford Cottages Senior Living/Citrus Gardens. It's great. I read really good reviews. Administrators in the organization have been very good at communicating with families. So far he's been there about a week now, and my experience with getting in there and dealing with the administrative staff, the director, and they were very, very helpful and easy to reach. Good communication back and forth. So far in the last week, the level of care is good and personal. I like the setup there, the way it's sort of like in cottages where it's like small groups in the housing. So there's like a group of six rooms that share a dining room and, and there's a couple of bathrooms, and it's in the smaller group setting. So it's not so overwhelming, but more personal. There's somebody available 24 hours a day. When I was there, everybody came in and introduced themselves to him and the facilities maintenance guy was very, very nice, and helpful, went out of his way to get him settled in and everything's set up to that. It's great. I think the food is good, he likes it, but he wishes it was a little hotter.

I didn't like Stanford Cottages Senior Living/Citrus Gardens. The staff was nice, but it was very dark and very unkempt. They had sheets on the bed that was torn and old, and the floors had chairs in them. The rooms were old, dreary, and sad. The beds were very old-looking. I didn't like the location, it just looked dumpy around there. They should improve on everything, except the staff, they're really sweet. They needed to improve the whole building; I would never do a tour with somebody and show me a really unkempt room. It needed to be remodeled and brightened up; the walls were dark and everything. The clients looked like they were drugged, maybe they weren't but they were just out of it.

Our Grandfather has been at Citrus Gardens Memory Care for several months now. When Grandfather's dementia became too advanced for him to stay at home, our family began looking for placements for him. We visited several facilities and chose Citrus Gardens because of the caring staff, clean and inviting facility, and positive feeling in Memory Care. Our family liked the idea that we can take my grandpa to the beautiful courtyard, the salon, or one of the other comfortable areas for our visits as well as his room. My Grandpa's caregivers have all been excellent our concerns have been addressed and resolved quickly by the Wellness Director and Administrator. All the staff, who have specialized training to work with dementia residents are amazing. Citrus Gardens is truly an outstanding community, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The administration has been available always with office doors open and available 24 hours per day. Communication has been excellent. All the departments went out of her way to help us get in and settled and checks in to make sure we are completely satisfied more often than we could have ever expected. They have been truly a Godsend to my family and especially my grandfather. Thank you to the management and staff of Citrus Gardens. Citrus Gardens has been a positive experience at a very difficult time for our family. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a place for a loved one.

My mother is living in the Citrus Gardens (Memory care) for a month now and is enjoying her move here. Taylor, who oversees the care, there is wonderful and is always happy. She has excellent follow through and is caring and professional. Shannon, the Administrator and Diana, the business office manager are both so friendly and do such a great job with the residents. They all make the families that come visit feel welcome. I highly recommend Citrus Gardens Memory Care in Hemet as a provider of choice for your loved ones. The activities are endless, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and the residents are truly happy and well taken care of. Great job to all the staff there. I can't say how good I sleep knowing my mother is taken care of at this wonderful community.

Citrus Gardens is a really nice place. Everybody is really nice there and take good care of my dad. He has adjusted extremely quicky and is doing all kinds of things. The rooms are clean and well kept. I like it, and I'm really happy with the place. The security is fine, and everything is locked. It has a courtyard, but the gates are locked with a code to get in and out. They serve their meals in the cottage and eat more like a family instead of in a big dining room, which I like a lot better because that way, a few people can sit and talk and get along.

My wife is now in memory care at Citrus Gardens. It is bright and sunny, and all of the rooms are locked. They serve 3 meals a day. The only thing is they keep her sedated a little too much, and I’ve been talking to them about it. But I think they are very good.

My mother was at Citrus Gardens, and we thought they were OK. We liked them. They had memory care, assisted living and hospice. The food seemed OK. They had private and shared rooms in assisted living. They dispensed her meds, and called me if she needed to go to a hospital. The director is a nurse. It was friendly and hospitable.

Citrus gardens is the worst place to stay. The funiture looks like it came out of a yard sale. The management does not care about her residents. The food is horrible.

The staff is wonderful at Citrus Gardens. My father is in a private room, but they also have semi-private rooms. It is nice. They brought in a full-sized bed where he could be more comfortable. He says the food is excellent. They have bingo and exercises in the morning.

Very caring, professional people. Take very good care of the residents. There is a variety of activities for the residents every month, and they provide group luncheons where the families are invited to participate.

My husband is very well-cared for at Citrus Gardens. The staff is very attentive and treat all residents with respect. The food is very good, and my husband is always complimenting the chef. Family members are always invited to holiday luncheons which are fantastic.
