I agree this is everyone’s worst nightmare. The residents don’t get any care. Their hair is not combed their faces are dirty their clothes are dirty . The facility is dirty and stinks. There is nothing for the residents to do they are never offered to go outside and even if they were the outside area is filthy dirty with bird poop . The front door is filthy and filled with cobwebs all over the light fixtures and the yard is in dire need of watering . The staff is horrible they sit on their butts almost all day long they offer no caring words for any of the elders living there . They actually yell and snap at the poor people that don’t even understand what they’re saying. The staff goes into different rooms and closes the doors leaves the residence out there with no one watching them. The owner and staff Want to push medications to make everyone just want to sit in sleep all day . There are people working there they can’t even speak English so you can’t have a conversation with them. The food is horrible nobody should be eating that cheap nasty food consisting of hotdogs and baloney with mayonnaise slopped over it and thrown together without any thought for who is going to be eating it . This place should be close down !!! It is obvious that the owner doesn’t care about how her facility is taking care of , because it is in dire need of work inside and out . Also how her employees treat the residence and the lack of-cares and compassion the people get there .DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMI LY THERE!!!!!

I would never put one of my loved ones under Carolyn(the owners) care. She is so cheap & low budget the residents do not get the quality care or life they deserve. The place is every seniors worst nightmare. Please do not put your loved one through this type of mysery. No daily activities, no tv time, don't get to go outdoors or excersize, i'd rather die then be in a place like that.

My husband was at Fair Oaks Community. The room was nice. It was your typical little square room. 2 beds. I thought the room was a little small and not much character. A small window and a shared bath between the room next to his room. Fair Oaks was sort of 1960s décor. They have a fairly huge grass backyard but no ability to really get out in the yard. It wasn't landscaped very well. It just has a few big trees and one little area that you could go sit on a couple of leather sofas that were under a little tent. It was just not well protected. In that hot sun there in Sacramento, you really wouldn't sit out there very long and the fact there wasn't even outdoor furniture. It's really indoor sofas that they moved out there.
