I have moved my parents to Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. They're very friendly and they worked pretty quickly to meet our needs and it all worked out. The cleanliness is good. They have activities like movie nights, game nights, cooking classes, and exercise classes. I would recommend others to check prestige out.

We were really happy with Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. The staff who gave the tour was very informative and very helpful. They explained everything very well. I have nothing but good impressions there. In terms of cleanliness, I was very pleased with how it looked and how they kept it clean. We were very happy with the dining area. It was also nice that they had an elevator to go to the second floor. They had a hair salon, and we got to glance at one of their exercise programs, which I thought was very neat as well. We got to see the types of rooms that they offered. We also appreciated how they let them decorate their rooms themselves. They even got to put little welcome signs out at the front door. That was sweet, like things a lot of people don't think about where you can make your place your own, so it means a lot.

Prestige Assisted Living at Chico is where I've chosen to put my husband when it's time for him to go there. It seemed to have the most staff longevity, and it's a comfortable, clean, and updated facility. The place was very clean, bright, and homey, and all the residents seemed happy. All of the staff knew the residents' names, so it wasn't like they were being treated like strangers. Paul was very compassionate and caring. He was very aware of the differences between assisted living and memory care. I looked at the menus. The meals were being served at that time, and they looked pretty good.

I toured Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. As soon as we walked in, it was a very cozy home-like setting, something that feels comfortable for anybody to live in, especially people with memory care issues. The person that gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. They gave us all the information that we needed to try to make the best decision possible for my mother. The rooms were a little bit small but other than that, they had great light, and they were very warm and inviting. The dining room was clean. It looked like they had a very good menu for their residents there. They had a salon for whoever needed to get their hair done. They had an arts and crafts room, a family room, a theater for the residents, as well as a garden.

I went to Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. They do both assisted living and memory care. The man I went on tour with was kind of a slick salesman. I had an appointment, and they served me this huge breakfast. I had already eaten, so I wasn't hungry. I thought the man seemed to be overdoing it. It was similar to the other place I looked at, except it wasn't just one floor. I liked the other place being all on the ground level. You have to bring your own furniture, and it would have been hard for me. There was a $3000 fee to move in. Then I was getting ready to leave, and the man said, "Well, we can waive that $3000 fee." I just thought that was a sales pitch. It kind of made me mad. There's either a fee, or there's not a fee. The facility was nice, but I didn't like the salesman thing that seemed to be going on. I saw only two or three people, and the place is huge. There were not very many people walking around. He gave me a list of activities, and it seemed similar to other places. There are movies, popcorn, bingo, exercise, and entertainment. I didn't really look close at it because I didn't really like the place. It was clean and modern.

I visited Prestige assisted living at Chico. The place was much better than the other place I visited. They did lunch. I had lunch there, and it was fine. The personnel were outstanding. The only situation is there wasn't anything wrong with it, but they were completely remodeling all the hallways and community areas. So, they were going through renovation at the time we were there, but I don't consider that negative. The person who assisted me during the tour was outstanding.

I toured Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. It was very clean and very nice. The staff was wonderful there. It was just expensive. They had a bus that takes people to the mall. They also had a movie theater, a game room, and a nice outdoor area where they could roam around. I saw a studio, it was small but had a nice layout. It had a little kitchen and a nice bathroom. Everything was nice. They were not very big. The staff were great.

The tour I did of Prestige Assisted Living at Chico was OK, but it was more costly, and the amenities weren't as good as the place we ended up choosing. We toured the assisted living and it just didn't impress my mom. The appearance of it just didn't seem open enough. It was tighter and not as appealing as the other place.

I looked at Prestige Assisted Living at Chico yesterday which I liked. It's very warm, homey, clean, the residents appeared to be quite content. The facilities are beautiful, they have a beautiful garden. The woman I talked to was wonderful. They showed me both the private room and the companion room. They were very clean, everything was clean, with no smell of urine, or anything like that. They have a wonderful art room, they have some of the artwork the residents have done which is just great. It was very inviting, and I just felt that my sister would get good care there. They were eating, and the food looked fine. Everybody looked happy eating.

My client is at Prestige Assisted Living at Chico. For the few hours I was there moving her in, everyone seemed very helpful and very friendly. The senior folks I talked to appeared satisfied. The staff seemed caring and concerned. They were a good crew. Her studio apartment is large enough for her. It has a very nice bathroom with a roll-in shower, which can accommodate a wheelchair. I was impressed with it. Their dining room is very nicely appointed and very upscale. They have a 24-hour staff for any type of medical help. Meals are provided, and everything that you need is there. There are activities available. My client was able to take her cat with her.

I visited Prestige. The staff was available and fine. The amenities were good, but the pricing structure seemed ambiguous, and I couldn't anticipate what the final price would be. I saw the dining area, which was very nice, and they have a garden area and a patio.

Prestige Assisted Living at Chico was nice. The staff was really nice and friendly. We went into the unit where the patients were, and they were watching TV. The dining room was nice, but it wasn’t notable in any way, just nice and clean. They have a big calendar of activities.

Prestige Assisted Living at Chico was very nice with a very nice dining room and areas for people to gather. They had movie nights, exercise programs, play card, and had a lot of nice programs going on there. It was very well done. The furniture, countertops, and floors were all in very good condition and very updated. They had bus services to take the residents to different shopping areas and had themed parties. The staff was very nice, dressed well, had been there for a long time, and were very attentive to the residents. The food looked good from the menu they showed us.

My mother moved into Prestige Assisted Living at Chico about two weeks ago. It's amazing, and she is really happy. The people working there are very happy people and very loving. They talk to them, hug them, and say hello with smiles on their faces. The place is very clean, and the one thing we liked about it is when you walk in, there isn't a smell. It's big but it's homey, which made the difference. When you first come in, you have this beautiful dining room off to the left. They have linen table cloths, linen napkins, a nice little centerpiece, and leather-bound menus. They have main choices for each meal, but if those don't appeal to them, there are always alternatives on the menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I ate with her the first day we were there, and it's amazingly good. They do have a monthly schedule, and every day there are activities that go on. She's very physically well; she has just Alzheimer's. She likes to walk, and they have an exercise program every morning if she wants to be involved in that where they go for a walk together. They can go shopping once a week to various grocery stores where they are accompanied. They have a bus and go to Target and other stores. The atmosphere is amazingly happy. They keep them busy and interested. There is a library and a little movie room with a big screen where they put movies on at night if they want to watch. Everybody is so helpful. If you have any questions, they want it resolved right away. It's very professional in there. If I would recommend the place to somebody else. We're getting a lot for our money.

My mother-in-law was in assisted living at Prestige. She passed away a couple of years ago. It was good. The staff was very friendly, and they were more proactive. They'd poke their head in regularly and ask if she needed anything, and they would actually do things for her. They had the assisted lift chair like a recliner that would help you stand up, and they let her borrow that for a few months instead of renting it to her like other places might have done. I saw that there were activities available, but she was not interested. She was more of "I just want to read or listen to music." Before she needed the assisted living, she would always be gardening and doing other quiet activities.

There is no easy way to admit that you cant take care of a loved one. With Prestige Care my family and I were able to rest easy knowing that the strong independent woman who was responsible for our being on this earth was in fact receiving better care than we could have hoped to provide for her ourselves. Every time we went to visit her the staff greeted us with a smile and they all seemed genuinely happy to provide this wonderful service. What really made me feel like we made the right choice was how on multiple visits when we went to her room she would be sitting there chatting up any member of staff from the doctor to the orderly and you could tell they didn't mind and their patience with her was truly remarkable. Prestige has the ability to make one of the toughest times for a family a little easier, and that in it self is a miracle.
