My husband is in Princess Lodge. It's very warm, homey, and caring. The staff is very alert but very caring. They're affectionate with the residents there. It's very personalized. They don't refer to them as patients. They are residents of the community. This is the way they described them. Like my husband, he's a resident of a community. The food is very good. My husband and I were having our 16th anniversary and they had set aside a private room. We had an anniversary celebration and we had a lovely dinner. They even provided a bouquet for my husband to present to me. They played music there for us, and it was just wonderful. I don't eat there every day, but they have their breakfast and then the middle of the day would be lunch, which is their large meal. The lighter meal is evening and then they have a snack before bedtime. It's not new, but it's very clean. There's a living room with lots of recliners and they watch TV. There's not an exercise room. There were no fancy things that the people that are in there, including my husband, wouldn't use anyway. They got Singin' Sam and he comes in and plays guitar and sings. Another lady comes in another time and plays the word games. They had a gal come in and sing to them. Value for money is very good. When I was looking over four months ago, most places were $10,000 or more and this is almost half what I'm paying. He has to be bathed and they tend to all of his personal needs. I'm sure there are fancier places. This is not fancy. It's homey. It's a godsend because my husband did not opt for long-term care insurance. This would be for the people that don't have that insurance.

We were referred to Princess Lodge. It seemed homey and comfortable. It seemed nice. The staff seemed very friendly. They were very accommodating to bring in my father's furniture and my father's needs. They seemed accommodating and friendly. My father is in a shared room because it is very expensive. The room is nice and very big. It has a big bathroom and good shower. It is a good shower because they could wheel him in. So far, we have been satisfied with it. It has only been a day. He hasn't even spent the night there, but when we went to drop his things off -- he seemed very happy that they were attentive to him. The dining room seemed nice. It seemed like they had a lot of activities. Today, they were doing karaoke and people were coming back from the senior center. The other day, they were having a big luau party. It seemed like every time I go there, they have lots of things for the residents to do.
