To help shed light on real senior living prices, Caring.com has compiled proprietary cost data from its network of more than 75,000 senior living providers to provide insight into the average cost of assisted living in Portland and 34 other cities in Oregon.
Oregon is one of five states to offer a 1915(k) option, also known as a K Plan, K Option, or, in Oregon, the Community First Choice plan. This benefit, offered through Medicaid, helps eligible low-income seasons to pay for their assisted living and other care costs.
