I placed my disabled father here in 2011. Rosewood gives excellent care. All the care aids, med aids do their best work. The nurses and staff are caring, hard working people. My father enjoyed the staff. My father passed 3/18/17. I must point out the incredible level of care my father received in his final weeks and especially days. There is no way I could have provided that level of care for him myself. Rosewood went above and beyond. For this I will forever be eternally grateful. Don't hesitate to place your loved one here. Rosewood is top notch!

Rooms are small but adequate. Interactions with the staff are mediocre at best, sometimes on the testy side. Management on down to all levels of staff have no communication skills, no sense of urgency, no concern for tending to any medical situations, or follow thru. If you are looking for a facility that offers poor meals and care, just a facility to drop off your loved ones to be "housed", this is your facility.

For what the residents pay it is not worth it. The food has gone downhill, many times it's cold , they have very few options other than stay in their room and fix their own food. If the food is not up to wanting to eat it they should get a reduction in their rent. Plus when we toured the facility they said they were going to remodel it and it desperately needs it, so far after 4 months nothing has been started. Most retirement and assisted living facilities have a chef, but this place doesn't seem to have one. Very disappointed in putting our mother here.

I visited Rosewood Park. I like it a lot. We were actually looking at getting into there, but Mom needed a 2-bedroom apartment, and they didn’t have availability. They also offered levels of care assisted living, so that was what I was looking for, but they also had a good program. It’s a very nice facility. It was clean, and it smelled good. It was light. The staff was very positive. I really like the interaction that I saw between the staff and the residents. The limiting factor is that they just didn’t have a 2-bedroom apartment available for Mom. Also, they didn’t have a call button that the residents can wear. They only had pull chains on the wall.

The rooms at Rosewood Park were in good size. They had 48 residents that they had in a quad room, so there were only like 12 in each area. They had a lot of activities as well. They had a lot of private bathrooms or like the Jack and Jill bathrooms. It was clean and nice. I liked that it was 1-story, it had windows, and it felt like it more of a home environment.

We placed my mother-in-law in Rosewood Park. They've got rooms and activities for people with dementia, and that's what we were looking for. They have a bus service that they take people out to the community to do some things, and they are tied in with a few benefits. They'll take them to the doctor, they've got a beauty shop in-house, and it looked like it was the least painful for us too. They serve three meals a day. She's got dementia, she is calling out here all the time that people out there are dealing with it, and they are great. The staff is a group of amazing people. They know us by now, they know her and what she needs, they try to stop her from making the frantic "I'm lost, I have no idea what is going on" type of phone calls, and they deal with her. We've found a great place.

Of the places we visited and that my father would probably choose to live, the number one right now is Rosewood Park. The staff people were very kind and very good. It is a top-notch facility as well. The rooms were very spacious. They have Bingo, they do reading -- they do all kinds of stuff. My dad did not stay there; I only have friends with their parents who stayed there, but they always keep the residents busy. Their dining area is nice, bright, and happy. They do not have a pool, but they do engage their residents in exercises. It is a large facility. If residents want to just walk from point A to point B, they can get plenty of exercise. I think what I liked about this community is the staff is always very engaging with their people.
