Urbana is a city located in the west-central region of Ohio. It is home to Urbana University, a 170-year-old university that has a 1,500-seat stadium where sports lovers of all ages can enjoy watching basketball and volleyball games. While Urbana has a relatively young population, it also has a large senior community that accounts for nearly 18% of its 11,000 residents. 

Seniors in Urbana have two local assisted living facilities to choose from, and there are six more in the neighboring city of Springfield. These facilities, which may also be called residential care facilities, are governed by the Ohio Department of Health.
