We're visiting my dad at Brookdale Buck Creek two or three times a week. It's a small facility, so they're more hands-on. They have a lot of things for the disabled and elderly to do, and they have a real nice setup. The rooms are great. They have their own bathrooms and amenities. It's a good place for old people to go. They asked us if we want to eat with them. We've eaten once with him. The great part about it is that we don't have to set up a time within 48 hours to go and get him. We can just go and get him any time we want for as long as we want.

Brookdale Buck Creek was a nice, beautiful place. It's the one that my mother-in-law likes best. The person who gave me a tour was wonderful. She gave us an excellent tour of the place. The rooms are a decent size. We checked the dining room, but we didn't taste the food. They were redoing the roof out front, and so we had to go through the kitchen way, and it really smelled good. The dining area was a beautiful setting. There's a lot of light.

My mother is going to Brookdale Buck Creek. It felt very homey, and it's not too big that she'd be lost. It just felt very comfortable. We like the apartment, it's a one-bedroom. It was a little bit bigger from where she's coming from. We felt like the transition and a little more space would be good for her. The person who took us around during the tour was Stacey and she was very good. My mother looked at the menu and thought it was acceptable, but we haven't eaten there yet. As far as I could tell, all their facilities look very good. They have a couple of courtyards and a screened-in porch, and they provide a microwave and refrigerator or a small freezer in the rooms.

I liked Brookdale Buck Creek. It was newer and decorated very beautifully. The staff was very nice. They had a Mediterranean tour open house type thing, and they had very nice food, like hors d' oeuvres so it was very nice, very elegant. They had a courtyard, it was very nice, and they started their own gardens. They had a microwave and a small fridge in the rooms.

I was very impressed with my tour at Brookdale Buck Creek. It's clean, airy, it's up-to-date and more modern than having to look like a hospital room like where my mom is. It's assisted living and there's a lot of positive things about it. I think it has a nice atmosphere and pleasantries that improve the mood, it would for me anyway. I thought it was very, very luxurious. The staff went above and beyond, they're wonderful. They gave my mom flowers and a box of chocolates. That's very thoughtful, it was unexpected and I appreciate that.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Buck Creek. I think that if my mom hadn't been quite where she was, it would have been an excellent place for her to go. The place was so clean. It seemed very, very homey. I love that. It looked like you were at someone's house, and the yard was like you were in someone's backyard. It was very nice. It just wasn't the right fit for her where she was in the care that she needed. They had different levels of assisted living. The people who work there made me feel very comfortable, like I was just talking to friends. The dining area was very nice and looked super, super clean. The whole place looks spotless. They have a couple areas where you could sit and watch TV, and they were very nice. The dining was very cozy and comfortable. It was not a big facility, so that gave it that homey, cozy feel. They have a pretty backyard where you can get some sun. They told me that sometimes they would have a grill there. They have cookouts and movie nights. We were at the end of COVID, so some of the excursions weren't happening. The staff is very good.

Brookdale Buck Creek is a fairly new and smaller community, but it's very nice and clean. The rooms were also smaller than her current room. We saw that they had a TV area for the seniors, but there wasn't a whole lot going on then. The dining area was clean, but it's not as big as the dining area in the other community. I met a few people there and the staff members were really nice.

My dad was at Brookdale Buck Creek for respite care. Our experience with it was good. The staff was very nice. We felt that he had good care. The place was very clean. Everyone was friendly to the people that were there. They have small feeding areas, a game area, and lots of places that people can go and hang out. It had more of a community feeling instead of a hospital feel. The food looked very good, too.

Brookdale Buck Creek was a nice, new place. I was not impressed with the staff member who gave us the tour because she was all about selling us an apartment. They had a nice garden area for the residents.

My dad didn't think he needed to be at Sterling House. But they went above and beyond and tried to figure out how to get him involve. He seems to be coming around now. He has his own apartment and he says the food is wonderful. They just seem more homey and they took care of my dad much better.

I feel as though this facility exists so that people in the healthcare field can have a job that they dont have to work hard at. The staff is less than enthusiastic to do their jobs. I have no medical education and know that I could take care of the residents better than the current staff. On multiple occasions I have recieved phone calls because my grandfather has gone out of the facility. Mind you that it is a lock down facility so that these things cant happen because they (the residents) have no memory.... or very little. If they were to escape and go far.. there is no telling what would or could happen. The staff pays almost no attention to the residents and does nothing to simplify their lives or make things easier on the elderly. We have also experienced on multiple occasions where my grandmother has had accidents and they have not assisted her with getting cleaned up or putting on new clothing. I would not choose this facility if i could do it all over again.
