I moved my mother to Casa De Buena Vida because the care is phenomenal. I cannot say enough good about the care of my mother has received there, it's just unbelievable. It's like memory care, she has Alzheimer's but she's under hospice. She's not the end-of-life hospice but they just took over her medical care, and it's been fantastic. They are the most loving, caring people I could ever imagine. It's wonderful, and very, very clean, very nice size, a good bathroom, I have nothing negative whatsoever to say about this place. The food is fantastic, it's all freshly made. They have 2 Hispanic ladies that come in, and they just know how to cook, and they don't wanna use anything but fresh stuff. She's more on memory care 'cause she does have the Alzheimer's, but with the hospice doctors and nurses and staff, they got her on medication that stabilized her, it's not helping with her memory at all she knows who we are, but she can't remember anything more than 5 minutes ago what you said. Physically she walked with a walker, and they've gotten her sundowners under control, so that she's not having 36-hour days anymore, and just able to sleep at least until 5:00 in the morning. We had made her apartment here in our house, and she lived here for a year and a half, and she went downhill. They're providing her care and medical assistance that we could not. I can't go in to visit my mom inside. My mom can't do any activities because she doesn't remember how to do anything. So I don't know what they do for the others. I know that there's been times when the owner's daughter, who are being home-schooled there, they're in their teens, they go, and they will put music on it and dance a little bit with the ones that can, or they try to play games with them. They are just wonderful with her, and my mom loves it there. They were cheaper than any place else that I had looked into. Everything about this place is fantastic. I would never consider moving her anywhere else.
