I toured Brookdale North Tucson. It was wonderful. It seemed to be very nice. If it's only assisted living, so for me, I wouldn't move in with my husband there. But the facility seemed very good.

Brookdale North Tucson is very clean and very nice. We like it. They have a lot of amenities. There are some growing pains right now, but so far our experience has been good. My parents like the food and they're very, very picky eaters. My mom just got her hair done and she's setting up for a manicure. So, that was nice. I think the cost we're paying is worth it.

I have visited the facility five times to visit my dad. I have never encountered anything negative on my visits. It's small enough that it's easy to navigate, and the residents seem to get enough care. The rooms are nice; the food is pretty good, the staff seems engaged. I'm not giving it a five because it's outstanding in any aspect, but it's not negative in any either. Given how others seem hyper critical on senior care facilities I think a "no negatives on five separate occasions" is worthy of a 5-star rating.

I went to visit and no one was around! No residents, no staff, no one! When I finally found someone they we not friendly at all. I wouldn't know what to do if there was something important that needed tending!

All the residents there told us how great the staff was. Everyone was happy and busy doing things together. Food looked great as did the apartments!

I really liked Brookdale quite a lot. I met the sales manager, she gave me a thorough tour, I've been in touch with her, and I will go back to take my friend there. They have very spacious rooms, it looked like it was in very good condition, and it didn't have any unusual odors. I saw the residents, they seemed happy to be there, and well-kept.

I am very disturbed by how this facility is run. As soon as you enter you get a cold feeling from the management, no one welcomes you or smiles. I can only imagine how this behavior affects the residents residing there. Often the meals are served late, or they run out of food. I have witness the food being served up to 54 minutes late. On top of those concerns are the lacks of regard for the safety of the residents. There are sharp objects left for easy access, they are understaffed, and often not scheduled to meet the requirement to residents. I can’t imagine letting my loved ones stay here any longer to live in this cold environment with such inattentive management and staff.

Brookdale North Tucson is a nice place, so we placed my uncle there. The staff is caring. The place is clean and peaceful. They have a lot of activities for their residents. They have outings that my uncle goes to, and he enjoys it. He's doing OK there.

Brookdale North Tucson doesn’t seem to fit my mom’s style, and one thing that concerns me is that the price. We walked to the outside place, and it was pretty dismal. It was like a dead tree. The staff was very friendly and competent, and the people seemed attentive to their clients. It’s far away from me, and the price is going to take off my mom’s savings.

I visited Brookdale North Tucson and the place was kind of small, but the apartments looked very well appointed. The gal that we talked to seemed very nice and helpful. I can say that they are reasonably priced .

We chose Brookdale because we wanted to be as close to the mountains as we could get, and they had an opening when most of them did not. The place is beautiful. The staff and the people are wonderful. We’re happy with everything.

Mom’s room at Brookdale North Tucson is really small. It had a tiny kitchenette with a small refrigerator. It had a small bedroom with a small window that overlooked the inner courtyard.

Brookdale North Tucson is very cheerful, clean, and well decorated. The rooms are large and have walk-in closets. My mom is in a pretty spacious private room. The residents have two food choices as meal options. My mom doesn’t like it, and I think the portions are small; however I think it’s good for my mom because she’s overweight. The food is adequate, and I think it’s a blessing in disguise for my mom. They have three meals a day and snacks, too. The dining room is not fancy nor glamorous, but I heard they’re in the process of remodelling. My mom does not participate in activities. She’s pretty immobile, but they do have a lot for the residents. They have a huge calendar on the wall with all of the things they do. They go out to lunch once a month and go shopping, too. They also have a beauty salon for hair and nails. I think the community has a good setup. With my mom’s other facilities, they all had a call button that they wear like a bracelet or necklace. They don’t have that; it’s the one drawback. They have pull strings, like in the hospital, in the bathroom and one in the living quarter’s area. They need to get more modern with that.

Worst place I have ever been to.everyone there seems stressed due to being short staffed all the managers are in there offices. All we really liked was the food. it was excellent. But bottom line it seemed like the whole time we were there they were trying to hide things and they had no care staff. P.S the Ed did emit they were short staffed and we're going through a rough patch not very professional on his half if you tell me.

The apartments were very nice at Brookdale North, I think they had been redecorated because I had been there 10 years ago and gone back there for a couples of months now. I did not have lunch, but I had some samples of food there, and the food seems quite good. Everything was nice and clean except that I kind of eliminated that one because I thought the people there were much sicker than my mother was. I talk to a couple of residents there, and they seemed very happy, but everybody that I saw there probably needs some kind of assistance. There was somebody playing the piano and doing some music. It was lunch time, and a lot of them were eating. I did sample a little bit of food there, and everything seemed very good. There was an ice cream parlor, a couple of rooms with television, and movies. I like that it was all in one level and that it was smaller. There was nothing wrong with it; it just wasn’t a good fit for my mom.

It is clean, friendly, and close to home. We did a walk-through, and all of the residents seemed very happy. The staff is very good, and the food is amazing. They have Christmas parties, sing alongs, and art classes. I would recommend this facility.

It is a very nice facility. They had everything. It wasn’t too big or too small. My dad service's was great. So far, the level of care is wonderful. The people were nice and well taken care of, and so far so good. I haven’t tasted the food, but my dad says it's great. Their dining area is very nice and very clean, like a restaurant. It has lots of views from the outside.
